- Seventeenth mission. A fun driving mission where it can be easy to crash at least once when you're driving against the flow of the traffic. Even if it's tempting to stay on that part, you must switch back to the right side of the bridge before you reach Jaws or you'll miss one of the Bond Moments.
This is being played on Dolphin emulator 5.0 at 5k resolution.

This is perhaps one of the most fun James Bond game missions of all time. That sound of building speed as you lean on the bike is bringing back all the memories.

I've play it so many times. The best 007 games were this, Nightfire, and GoldenEye. Also From Russia With Love was a fun game.
The way the effects change the view, the sounds of the bike and how gittery it gets... quite intense, esp when I was a kid. Loved and hated this mission. Was obsessed with getting all 007 style things, so many times I did this.
One of the best games made, and it's no shock that visceral studios made it.
EA was on crack when they dissolved the studio.

If you failed this mission, M would say "The city will soon be underwater, and so will your reputation!" The year after this game was released, that's exactly what happened!

This mission alone made me feel like a badass in 2003 as it does now in 2021.
Freaking good game right there.

Remember I played a demo of this game in 2003 and this level was in it.
I played this mission over and over just because of how fucking cool it was.
It's simplicity is what makes it so godamn good.

Haha me too! Never got the full game but boy did I play the hell out of that demo. It was so much fun, I always wanted the full game but by the time Christmas/Brithday would roll around, I wanted something else. Demo discs... Kids these day's don't know!

I absolutely love how, in the cutscene of the tanker accident, the highway signs says "drive carefully" 😂 at 2:27

I remember getting this game as a kid and this level was so damn hard and I kept thinking no way this is a real location. Flash forward to 2012 I got a good job doing IT for an insurance firm and they sent me out to New Orleans to go move our office in Metairie. The office was right on the water and when I got up to the 9th floor they had a beautiful view over the water and I saw the causeway going out to the distance and it immediately clicked in my head. When I got back to my hotel I looked up the levels of the game and son of a gun if it wasn't the same bridge from that game. They embellished the area a bit though that skyline at the end is a lot bigger than the actual one lol. Also the area you start isn't really a swamp it's very residental. Still fun to say I have been there!

1. Jump over the gate
2. Use missiles to destroy the shack.
3. Jump over the construction pieces to get over to the side
4. Slide under the truck.
The sound design is fantastic here
Me and friends would play this mission hundreds of times and the multiplayer. But just to crash into the on coming traffic and watch bonds death was litteraly the most morbidly entaining laugh to us. Good times.

I did this mission 10 dozen times, might be my favorite mission in the game and I never knew about the toll booth jump (eventually got very good just Ipass breezing through em) nor did I ever think to use the flamethrower while in the cinematic where you slide under the tanker....LOL i learned stuff!
My favourite level featuring the Triumph Daytona Q bike. I love the ending of the level when Bond acknowledges Jaws’ fate.

So I just played “SWars:Survivor” speedbike section. This Bond Blows it away. Devs here made great stuff.
Was skeptical of this a 3rd person game living up to the standards that Goldeneye set when this came out, but it did not disappoint.

It's so chilling when M mentions "there's no telling how many innocent people would die" given many of those innocent people did in fact die a year later.

Started off kinda slow, but impressive driving none the least. My vision and reflexes aren't what they used to be, so I wouldn't attempt beating this mission nowadays.
is it true you could connect the gba version with the gc one ?
Yes it is possible, I don't know what it unlocks or does though.
This was a bit challenging to Platinum, but once I got to the end the first time, it was done with 9 seconds left. That run got me 400% efficiency and accuracy, while the Gold run got me 500% in both, giving me a nice boost with 880000 with the score.
This game need or a remaster or a remake followin exactly the same history Just like goldeneye classic to goldeneye reloaded with Daniel Craig

The motorcycle is so sensitive on PlayStation 2. Any tips on how to get gold? Btw your so much better than me at this Graslu00! I am 16 and started playing PS2 in 2007 when I was 3. I've beaten the game but I am replaying through the missions to get gold and platinum.
I recently started playing GC version for first time and the controls were better on that version than PS2 version even if I struggled a bit with GC control layout.
But I swear I got gold quite easily on Hard on GC but took me many tries with PS2 version.
And I played PS2 version all the time.
