If you're in the Valley, you need to speak with the Castellan first. He'll give you a quest to build your home. If you're in Oxbow, you just need to complete the initial quest that the game gives you. Once you complete that initial quest and speak to the Castellan's right hand man (his name starts with a D, but I can't remember exactly what his name is off the top of my head), then you're able to build a house!
I am not sure! My lady and I use discord to voice chat. Based on some searching on Google, I'm not seeing a proximity chat though, so you may need to find an alternative means of communicating.
So what if i as joined player am of old age will i die or keep living or do i need ofspring? Becouse i am sharing the house to and we build a lot of houses and finished them me to and none of them are mine so i am kinda confused😅
You will die of old age, but that doesn't happen until you're 60-something, I believe. So, definitely get yourself a wife and an heir! Hahaha. You'll want to build your own house, too. The best way to make sure it's assigned to you is to build it without anyone helping you. I hope that helps!
You should be okay! I would just make a save file and label it "Before Offline" or something before your partner goes offline, then just keep that save file in the event that something does go screwy. Sometimes things can get a little weird when you unlock new buildings, but that just means you'll probably be the one building those and managing them.
I believe Oxbow is for next-gen consoles, so if Xbox One S is considered a next-gen console, yes! You'll have to figure me there are so many versions of the Xbox, I've lost track of which is the "next-gen" version. Hahaha.
You said that if other players build the house they will be assigned to it. Is there anything else we have to do? They are still spawning at the first town every time they die or sleep.
That sounds like it might be a bug. Are you playing on console, by chance? I know those systems are experiencing some bugs at the moment and that might be one of them. As long as the house is assigned to them, they should be respawning there. I would also just make sure to save the game while they're all still logged in, too, because saving when they're online with you can make things a little glitchy as well.
I have found a possible solution have the co op player interact with the post card next to the door of an unoccupied house and they will be able to assign the house to themselves
Me and my wife had same issue so what it was I had too get her too get a villager Then I romanced the villager till we married then it let her house me with the villager automatically but until then she couldn’t house me as players don’t pop up in the management tab
@@damienreynard1416 I know in the initial update, players couldn't have houses together. I'm unsure if that's changed with players being able to marry each other. This could be a work-around though!
I just got the game with a friend and we have a weird issue. He is hosting our coop file, we finished 2 houses and i cant be assigned to any of them. Population of the village is 1 and I think it should be 2? It seems that the game dont see me as a citizen. If u know something about this I'd be very happy to know. Thanks
My lady and I ran into the same problem. You need to finish the house when you're building it. Your friend can help you build it, but you need to be the one who completes the house. Then it should automatically assign to you! I hope that helps!!
My friend and I are playing a coop game that I started. However, he cannot get back into our game unless I'm in it. Is there a way that he can continue our game without me in it?
The COOP in Medieval Dynasty uses a dedicated server, so you're basically hosting the game. Anytime you're not on, the server isn't on. I just checked to see if Medieval Dynasty could be used on GPortal, which is a paid service that will host the server for you, but I don't see it listed as a game they support. Unfortunately, it seems like he'll only be able to play if you're the running game. I'd suggest if he's going to be the more active player, you guys can start a new COOP save file and have him be the host instead. Or he can play single player, and then just play COOP when you're online! I hope that helps!
Just started playing co op on console, having an issue & wondering if you have an answer to; We started playing yesterday, I am the host. We made progess then hopped off for the night. Then today we hopped back on & my partner joined me but she had to re create a character & lost all her progress aswell as all the items she was carrying. Any ideas?
That sounds like a bug to me. As long as you were the host both times, her progress should have been saved, too. If this is a bug, the devs should probably have a fix for it soon. They take these sort of bugs pretty seriously. Otherwise, I'd just suggest saving before she logs off, and then letting her exit out before you quit out. Those are the steps we take to make sure we don't get any weird bugs. I'd also suggest not progressing without her because she can miss out on stuff, and things can be a little glitchy in terms of progression. I hope that helps though! I think it's probably just gonna be wait for a patch sort of situation though. :/
@@survivalgameguide thank you for your suggestions. We played again & this time her progress was saved! I think the first time I saved after she left which could have caused the issue. I will make sure to take your advice into account & hopefully it won't happen again 😊
@@oiToxic Amazing! I just saw there was a patch for the game, too, that I think mentioned the problem you had. So, they might have fixed the bug that was causing the problem, too! I hope you both enjoy the game!!
Been playing for a few days on PS5 and having a hard time figuring out how to make my husband part of my community. I am the host, but it doesn’t allow me to add him and it only shows me, not 2 people. He fully built his house and he can see himself on the thing on the outside, but to me it shows it’s empty and allowed me to move 2 ppl in.. he also can’t manage anything.. which I feel like defeats the purpose of playing coop.
That is really odd! It sounds like he either glitched joining your game or he didn't actually join it at all. From what I understand, anyone who joins your Co-op map automatically is part of your settlement. So, the fact that he isn't is very odd. I would troubleshoot it by starting a new game and having him host and see if you have the same problem.
No tether! At least, my lady and I didn't experience a tether. She was off stealing from everyone while I was farming. Hahaha. So, I think you're good!
