I haven't heard of crushed black diamonds! Are you playing sandbox mode? If not, that must be a new resource! If you are playing sandbox mode, then you may need to explore more and see if there are any mushroom trees around. That will give you Ubasam wood. If you're not playing sandbox mode, then you may just need to stock up on wood and natural fiber and first descend via rope ladders and wooden platforms. Then just get a lot of ubasam wood and make what you need to then fix the mine hoist.

@@survivalgameguide Took me 2 hours i gave up for a few hours. Did an exit, came back and low and behold my backpack had less black diamond then required suddenly 11 instead of the 15 needed. Took out some new ones from storage now it worked. Must have been a glitch.

I've been hearing that the singing mechanic seems to be bugged, so that might be affecting this recipe as well. I hope they get a fix out soon cause that is definitely game-breaking. :/

pick up a piece of elven wood

As our lovely friend suggested, you'll need to pick up elven wood for the first time to unlock the Workbench. You can find elven wood in the Elven Quarter! That stage of the map begins shortly after the Western Halls. So, keep digging through the tunnels if you haven't found it yet!

It seems like jumping is the only way, and I completely feel you because I've done exactly the same thing so many times. My suggestion would just be have a lot of wood on you, so you can make a wooden platform beneath you. It's what I had to end up doing. Hope that helps!

I have a backpack! And some of the equipment goes on the backpack instead of disappearing. But it only seems to do that with the last weapon/tool you used.

Uh oh! The unlock method might be different for sandbox mode. One of the viewers suggested upgrading your hearth. Try that and hopefully it will work for you!

Does it *only* spawn past the descent section?

@@LastAyleidKing I COMPLETELY agree with you on this. It only spawns in the Lower Deeps section. In one of my save files, I straight up could not find it either despite going through all the tunnels. So, I don't know if it's broken for some world seeds or spawns in an-mineable area or what.

In the tomb wide variety of clutter and mushroom, stone n dirt but there are funerary urns that...give hero tokens? Haven't rebuilt the stair yet but I assume it's a tomb section that spawned like in lower deeps adjacent to what next area zone will have. Lolol felt cool finding it

@@survivalgameguide Hi, did you eventually find it in the Lower Deeps? Me and my friends could not find it, even though we searched the whole zone thoroughly. Is there an actual chance it did not spawn?

@@salvatorevellecco2043 I did find it on one of my save files, but I absolutely could not find it on my other. So, I'm not sure if that particular world seed has it spawning somewhere inaccessible or it just doesn't spawn. :/ But I was basically out of luck on that save file and just gave up. The good news is that the blueprints aren't anything you need for end-game. You'll get better stuff down the line. But yeah, still very annoying.

You can find the Commissions in your list of Tasks at the bottom! Press "L" I believe on the keyboard to get to your Task list quickly!

I feel the same. Sad about having to start fresh, but these new changes look very promising! The game has such a fun concept and cool lore, so I'm hoping the same!!

You've had quite the journey already! I will say you'll get more Black Diamonds later in the game, but it's quite annoying how rare they are earlier on, especially for the Mine Hoist! My best advice is to keep digging. Explore all the tunnels and you'll eventually get to Orc Town! I've had the same thing happen where I'll easily find something I need in one save file, then take hours to find it on another. Just the roll of the fates, I'm afraid!

Oh! And you'll also get Umbassa wood when you reach the Lower Deeps, which is where the Mine Hoist will take you!

I hear you! Which bit would you say you don't like losing the most?

I am definitely behind this. I kind of feel like part of the problem is that they re-did a lot of the progression and then forgot to sort of fix up the quests to reflect that. :/

@@survivalgameguide Its still early access, so I am hopeing they are realigning it. I made my village in the beginning area, cause I wanted to rebuilt that village, but now, it seems like I shouldnt have, but I dont feel like there are quests for me to rebuild them....

@@DrejXArmy I'd say it's still a good beginning area just in terms of getting some resources really easily! But I feel you. Now that they've opened the ability up to build your first village anywhere, the beginning village can seem a bit inconvenient.

Like you run out of stamina even though you're pressing "A" and "D"? The only thing I can think of is that you might need better bait. You could be pulling in a big fish. If it's happening all the time though, then I can only suggest making sure that you're only clicking enough for the circle meter to fill up half-way, and then only tapping "A" or "D" when it gives you the prompt to do so. Try not to click too much on the circle meter if you can help it because I think that might eat into the stamina, too. Just have it hover right around that middle sweet spot.

Oof. That is not a nice bug. Does that happen when you try to save the whole BP at once? Or when you save sections of your base instead of the whole thing?

Oh my goodness. I totally hear you! The stairs are way too narrow. Have you tried crouching? That might work.

@@survivalgameguide Crouching did not work. One step at a time did not work. Careful targetting did not work. I solved it by going into my settings and changing the climbing in my settings. Under Settings: Gameplay :Control Set both AUTOVAULT to OFF AND X AXIS INPUT FOR CLIMBING AND VAULTING TO on!! That worked and it has made climbing stairs a lot easier. I will experiment with AUTOVAULT on for regular movements as most times I appreciate climbing over obstacles without having to trigger it.

I know they changed the skins on some of them, but I could have swore it said new weapons. My bad if my eyes deceived me! At the very least, I know they said some new spells are coming!

Same issue here, spotligths kill are not counting. i have 4 registered in the challenge a may be for the Ravenous boss figth
