Awesome video! Thanks for showing how you did the razor lineup , and how you deal with your own perceived trouble spots. We all probly have spots we deal with. Beard looking spot on man! With the length you have most people would not have noticed. You can cover a lot! 👍👍👊
Dougie Knows Best I appreciate that brother!! I do these videos to help my brothers out I’ve been through a lot of the rough stages and not knowing what to do or how to get through certain stages. I’ve quit and started over a few times so I just want to share what I’ve learned and hopefully it will help someone out!! I appreciate the feedback and support!! Much luv and respect King👍🏾✊🏾👊🏾
Thanks for the detailed video mate , it’s a struggle all the time getting my line right , just started using a cut throat razor so I will keep practicing and remember your tips . Cheers from the UK
Great info...still to nervous to use straight razor on myself...u got one of if not the best Beard on here...thx for all ur info...stay Bearded and stay Blessed...
Neil Brown thanks bro there are a lot of nice beards on TH-cam! I appreciate that! If you try it just go light on the razor and go heavier on the shave gel the first time so that you can get used to it and the blade will slide easier. Stay way above your line until you feel comfortable. Let me know how it works out 👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Hey B, the brown Andis are the T edjer and the grey ones are the T outliner. I have both of them myself. I was at Sally's the other weekend looking for replacement blades and they didn't have them there. Not sure if they're just too outdated or if they stopped making them. They're both staples in my beard game maintenance though.
Line up looking sharp. I have to try the shaving gel you used. I was using the shaving oil (Shave Secret) that Nate Matthews recommended, and the same razor your using, but it's not a smooth shave nor do I get a crispy line like you do.
What up big beard homie. I been asking have u ever tried the bentonite clay? I keep thinking bout it it seem corny tho. Anyway I'm bout try the biotin here in bout a month thanks for the advice brush bruh Peace!
BeatBox You.Lunch nah I haven’t tried the clay it supposed to be really good I will eventually give it a shot! The biotin does work I’m on a cycle now! Peace bro👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Before I watch the rest. Your beard is on point!! thats a whole lot of patience I don't have haha my beard is like a 5 month beard anf getting through to the next phase is too much to handle lol I compare my beard to yours and a man named Jeff bauncristiono(great guy as well) for goals, texture, and shape. I think, with your lines and mustache, natural is still a good look. I go a couple weeks and just wolf on my cheeks. Mostly because I hate shaving and a few hairs always curl back and poke into my skin like a needle causing a lot of irritation. To me, sharp straight lines don't go on beards like you and I have. To much of a contrast next to round, curved shape. (Unless you wanna look super crispy when out on the town or somewhere formal. Also, there's this circular plastic, kinda comb like, face scrubber that has thick wide bristles so you won't snag your beard up. Condition and scrub with it in the shower to lift dry skin and prevent build up of the flakes. Ill try and make a before and after video for you, unless you already know it. I remember when you first started on here, and I'm happy you're gaineing a wide audience. Sorry for the book lol Stay blessed bro.
Robert harling thanks I appreciate that! I work in an area that people don’t have facial hair especially this much so i try to keep people from being able to say that my beard looks unkept. (Even though they will probably say that anyway😂) stay strong you will be happy you stuck it out!! I appreciate the support and feedback!! 👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
As always, another great video. You’ve sold me in using a straight razor. Still researching the best razors out there. My question to you is; Do you have any problems after using your razor like razor bumps or rashes?
Robert Jones not with the lineup because it’s such a small area and I’m going with the grain. If I shave my head with the straight razor I’d probably look like I had the mumps😂😂 just change the blade often they are pretty cheap and use an astringent to keep the area clean when your done and you should be good.👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Ok great job but my question to you ex is when you were going thru your rough stage which you showed us in a video awhile back what I want to know is how long did you thru that ,and if you were to start over do you think you would thru it again or is the rough stage a one time thing? In life of growing a beard
robert jordan I think I would go through it again for sure! There are areas of my beard that grow half as fast as other areas and some curl up tighter than others. I’m going to look for some real early pics from before I ever started doing TH-cam my beard journey was rough bro👍🏾👍🏾✊🏾
aggravatedman77 😂😂yeah bro I e done it before that’s why I play it safe now I’ve mad more than my share of mistakes! It’s stressful doing it yourself but even if we mess up a little sometimes that’s better than letting someone else mess it up for you. Peace bro👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾

This helped out because I have the habit of taking my line down and I want to break that habit. I've gotten better but now I want to improve more.

Try both together awesome line ups will be achieved. I do that once a month or anytime I'm bring my line up higher from a mistake.
Shave gel is cool, but if you plan your shave for after you usually apply beard oil, that works great too
