AestheticNutrition&Fitness LIMITED EVIDENCE??! your brain is dense.. i’m telling you to stop looking at world in 2d.. there’s plenty of views to this, i never said everyone should do it, it’s your choice to train injury prone & keep getting hip pain, knee pain/joint pain in general. i was just throwing out an option she could do.

Any tips on getting back into playing, I’ve done everything in my 6-7 month rehab process, gained strenght in legs, core and tendons. But now I cant get back into playing, I jumped back into practice little at a time but a few times I tried to play the whole practice and my knees started hurting again. Now I feel like I’m back into strenghtening my tendons and legs

dont practice whole game. gradually progress. start by doing light drills and playing 1on1 to 5on5. very gradually

if you are doing end of range mobility (such as putting a kick out there and struggling to keep it up as high as possible) do you think that type of controlled, high effort but low intensity training also needs a slow ramp. Or can you go straight into that type of stuff safely and mostly just ramp up the high intensity stuff?

Wish I listened to your podcasts earlier. A year ago I thought I was invincible and never cared about progressive overloading. Went from staying in my room for a month to doing max jumps on concrete. Ignored the pain and kept going. And now I have been away from jumping for about a year bc of patellar and quadriceps tendinopathy. This shit sucks

How are you doing now? did you take any action? I'm with you on this. Went from staying inside all day to instantly joining a volleyball team and doing hundreds of jumps every session. Even though i'm 18 this shattered my knees, gave me painful shin splints and made my legs fragile. Glad i stumbled on this video to clear my confusion.

First, I would recommend you trying stretch benchmark. The chances are, your muscles are tight and they´re overloading tendons.
