I relate a lot to you ! When my husband and I started talking / dating we were also young. We dated for years and about 1-2 years before we got married I got diagnosed with Lupus (we weren't engaged yet) it was super hard to give him the news because we obviously don't want anyone to have to deal with it for the rest of their lives. He decided to continue with the relationship & now we've been married for 1 year. I have had other illnesses come along like anxiety , arthritis , depression etc... I also cannot risk having babies , so I identify myself with you a lot. I honestly don't know what I would've done without him. He tries sooo hard to be there for me and support me the best he can. It's amazing having his support.
I hope you get the help you need asap & I pray that you get a caring, loving doctor who puts his genuine effort into your health!! You're such a strong person & I hope you never change that! Thank YOU Judd for supporting her and sticking by her side. It's not easy, but trust me it means a lot to people like us!

I am still in shock that you are only a year older than me! In echoing many of the comments, I would have thought y'all were older simply because you both carry yourselves in such a manner and it's so admirable
I'm so happy to hear that you two plan on adopting! So many people who cannot carry a child decide that's the end of it, but you two are right, there's plenty of kids right here in the usa who need homes. I also have EDS, so I plan on adopting as well if I am ever physically able to care for children.

Hey. I found your channel years ago when I was looking into service dogs but I just recently started watching regularly. I love your channel. You're a badass. And Harlow is the best. I just wanted to say thanks for thinking about adopting. It always warms my heart to hear about because, as a former foster kid who needs a service dog for related PTSD, it really makes a difference. You're amazing! Keep doing what you do :)

Sorry the allergist couldn't took on your case but when you think about it, it's better to have him give up then to have someone who doesn't how to deal with it. Glad you got some sleep though! Where you met was precious. I wish you so much love and happiness. I ship you two so hard and are my goals! I'm so proud of you and he both for sticking through the hard times.
And so help me God, if anyone gives you crap for not being a US citizen yet, I will be on them real quick.

Jaquie Blake I'm glad you're living here. Medical care is so bad other countries. I've heard stories on the treatment of the disabled in the UK and it's terrible. You deserve better! Love you! Get well... I mean stable soon. Love you! (As far as protecting you, it's a disabled person's thing. When I see someone defenseless get picked on, it hurts like my family is being picked on.)

Im in tears. Its hard to understand how somone can love somone so much. I gave my fiance an out. He told me to shut up im crazy and hes here. Hes my everything. Haha we joked about getting married for insurance. I love you guys. Im so glad i found this page. Our stripes our different but were zebra strong
My ENT doctor suggested I get a CT scan too after having horrible sinus infections and they found one of my sinuses hadn't formed right and didn't drain. Because of that it was "eating" away at my cheekbone. Luckily it was caught in time and they fixed it with minor surgery. The CT scan also reviled some other stuff about how my sinuses work and that's been super beneficial to preventing and getting over sinus infections faster.
Too funny Jud on the half of an almost 18 yr. old. I had two boys 2.5 yrs. apart and are now very close. Always got along well because I discouraged physical fighting and encouraged sticking up for each other.....they still got in a few licks. I love that the have each other and the protect that. Boys are much easier than girls ....hands down...they just break a lot of stuff....like lamps, snow globes, tables and sometimes even the car when the learn to drive. All those stories are very funny now that their grown. Have fun adopting! God gives you the baby you're supposed to have.

Tricare is really good in some ways but getting referrals is absolute HELL. I was born into the system and meds are free, no copays, but few drs you can see, next to impossible to get referrals to different specialties, and out of the system. Hope you can have a much easier time than I've have.

A friend of mine sees Dr. Glaum as her allergist. He's based out of USF, so hopefully it's not the same doctor you had yesterday. But she really loves him and he even has done mast cell research!

Hey Jacquie, Judd and Harlow. I have recently started following you and love all of your videos. I appreciate your diligence to express yourselves while educating and advocating for the public. I've been wondering if you, Judd and Harlow are able to be intimate as a family? By this I mean can Judd and Harlow kiss/lick you respectively or would that compromise your immune system? If you can't, how do you cope as a couple not being able to share intimacy? Also, I just want to tell you that you three have AMAZING chemistry and I look forward to a wedding in the future. And I hope you're not disappointed with tricare! My husband is Army and I can't stand tricare :( I am not severely ill, but do have issues that require several doctor visits, and I don't feel like the care is very personal, and have not been satisfied with over half of the doctors I've seen :(, but hopefully you have a good experience with! Mel Sill I agree, Tricare is awful. They've been my health insurance my whole life and I haven't had good experiences. It isn't personal at all, between PCMs TDYing, deploying, PCSing, etc. it's ridiculously difficult to have a PCM get to know you and your medical history or to get anyone to actually listen to you if you have chronic illness. It's frustrating.

Hi you two your story is similar to mine and my fiancés so I have a birth defect well he knew what he was getting into for that well not to long after we started dating I got super sick and became chronically ill I gave him an out to also but he said no and has stuck with me through all of it! I'd love to become friends with you I'm 21 and my fiancé is also 21 we would love to come to Florida and meet you if we can ever afford it lol

Im currently going through this trying to Sign a new allergist rheumatologist cardiologist you name it because I'm on IV infusions IV Benadryl epi pens multiple times a week and now he wants to take on my case because I'm too complicated and I just switch to medicaid which doesn't help either because all of my doctors that we're currently treating me do not take medicaid so I'm in this boat right now they're trying to get me into a tertiary clinic somewhere around the state Florida watching old videos trying to get some insight thanks for bargain all Of this it's really good information

Hi, Jaquie! Love your videos. Regarding videos you recorded via phone, you should be able to transfer them directly to your computer via the USB cable that came with the phone. Phone-recording is a good alternative in your outdoor adventures. Worth looking into when you're free. Thank you for staying positive and bringing positivity to us. =)
Don’t waste your time there is a gastrointestinal immunologist who specialize in mast cell at shands hospital In Gainsville, Florida. She is a guest speaker at IDF conference in ST. Augustine,Florida in August 2018.
You will have to get a referral to see her and the waiting time for a appointment is long.

If you've got WiFi and an android phone get WiFi File Explorer Pro for transferring files from phone to computer. It is awesome. I use it all the time for copying podcasts to my phone. I know it is on Amazon's app store not sure about google play.

I do not know if you have seen or spoken to this doctor or if it works for you, but Mark C Glaum, MD, his CV shows some connection with "mast cell", it may be worth the call to see if he or someone else in his practice may have the experience you need for allergy/sensitivies/immunology/mast cell. I have a wonderful husband of 25 years. I found out 10 years ago I have major spinal disorders and have been having issues in the past few years. He is wonderful and always there for me. It is so frustrating when you use up all your spoons. You are an inspiration to me.

I has a bad experience with Shands with my Klippel-Feil. I drove 6 hours for four minutes of his time and. No help at all, no local doctors will see me. Frustrating!
