- This video shows how to replace a broken charging port of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with a cheap one bought from eBay. Finally, the battery of the tablet charges again but very slowly.

Finally found exactly same model after about 6 videos. Hopefully I just ordered the proper charging port on Amazon.

Thank you for sharing. I could see in your video that there is a part of the connector which is hidden under the plastic. When I looked ebay to buy the connector, I was surprised by the photo of the connector. I was not sure that the connector was the good one. Now I understand why : the connector is bigger than what you see when you open the tab. Merci from France.

It's been a couple months now since I've bought this tablet and it is great. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS The tablet is responsive and runs well. There were a few times that the tablet did an awkward thing where it would detect pen on at all times and wouldn't register finger press, but it is usually fixed by closing and opening either the screen or app. This is highly likely due to my excessive use for drawing which caused this and wasn't really very big. As I mostly enjoy using the tablet for drawing (and some light gaming), I would comment from that aspect that there is definitely more accurate pressure and drawing using a PC device and drawing tablet, however i find the moveablity of the tablet more enjoyable to draw on. Like how you can physically rotate and move a piece of paper around or even draw casually on your bed.All in all, as a tablet it is good, and as a drawing device can be good depending on what you want from a drawing device. It is definitely good enough if you just want to use it to take notes. For typing though I can't comment on the keyboard as I did not get the keyboard.
Thanks for the video, useful as it also shows how to get the back off. Bit puzzled though, was this a deliberate mistake at 16:24 you unplugged the charging cable then replaced the back cover and put it on charge. If the charging cable is unplugged it won't charge. Also measuring the voltage on charging won't reveal very much, You would need to confirm there is current flowing during a charge cycle. To measure this the meter needs to be in series with the charger, unless you have break out a connector this is not so easy, better to just wait and see as you did. Hope this helps.

Thank you for watching this video. In fact, charging the battery using this port is still slow when compared to the original port. It is not yet damaged but it is however necessary to pay attention when pluging and unpluging the USB cable because such cheap ports can be damaged easily (mechanical wear of female USB connector/Tablet due to repeated connection and disconnection).

I have a Samsung galaxy tab 4. It took forever to charge. Now not charging above 8% max. I got a new battery pack ordered for it hoping it fixes the issue. The site I got it from was newpower99.com
