Got my ExJ ball Friday. Just like you, i drill it, same as my venom shock pin up 65x4.5x40
This ball is what I've been waiting for. 1st ball out of bag, really happy with it so far. Good control, on the fresh drives through the pins, and no deflection at all

If you were to design your own ball? what core and cover would you go with? What kind of reaction would you be hoping to see?

Also a tiny comment. I think the high angle shots doesnt really show the ball motion too well. Possibly if you moved the camera to have it right behind you it would work!

can you explain the relationship between the differential and the length of pin used on the layout? also can you explain how to use your axis tilt to matchup with the type of equipment that you select and the proper layout for that equipment?

Got mine a few days ago and I am also in the fence if I wanna drill it right away
The way I look at a new ball is, where do I want it to fit and when do I want to use it? The cover is stronger for sure. Ask yourself, what ball do you want to see it be a step up or down or over from? Do you plan to keep the cover as it comes? Do you use the same layout for every piece or do you have a couple of layouts that you use? Some people have their symmetric layouts and asym layouts. You can drill it the same as the Shock and let the cover be the deciding factor.
I use .421 reverse in my fingers, and I see lot of pros now use probably 1/2 inch or more reverse. Did you cut your grips down off camera? What type of thumb pitch do you utilize?
If it's possible. I know some of the ladies would like to see and hear a women's perspective on the equipment and seeing them throw a few shots. Maybe even a 1 v 1 match. Is it possible to get some of the lady staffers on some upcoming videos? That would be cool.
What is the average hardness of Motiv balls?
Mine has almost no green in the pour… 😢
To bad you don't have a Venom Recoil.
