Upper Michigan/U.P. Backcountry Snowmobiling with EXCON Freeride

- This was filmed almost entirely in one weekend of freeriding the Western U.P. around Bessemer and Ironwood a couple years ago. No huge jumps but it was a super fun weekend ripping it on the sleds.

Nice video! I live in Northern Wisconsin and hit up the U.P. a lot. Mostly Mass City and Twin Lakes area. Some really nice snow up there right now.

love snowmobiling me and my dad run 200 miles on our sleds every weekend during the winter we live in gulliver and we ride around jack pine bar and boot lake area if you know where that is...sure dont get the snow we used to

@82brummy No they're not too long, they just don't have the good shocks like an RS for jumping & stuff....bottom out all of the time and then break stuff.
@sledderboy440 There are actually 2 different Revs in here. Most of the shots are of Justin Mittelstadt on a stock 440. There are a few shots of me (Cory) on rev race chassis with an 800 in it. That sled had an aftermarket single pipe & can, snorted pretty good!
Not gunna lie, this is probably the coolest sledding vid ive seen in awhile. Too ad you wasted the whole vid on the doo's... #catpride

@sledderboy440 I ran that 440/800 rev as a 440 some too, it was also an 06. Great sled and if you're riding only at elevation close to sea level I think a 440 is all you need. Never ran it on pump gas w low compression though, not sure how well they run then.

Yes, You can. Bliping the throttle will bring the front end up, just as if you were nose high and tapping the brake brings you down. its the transfer of energy that pitches the sled, the rotating mass of the track spinning results in the nose rising, The transfer of energy for the track to the brake disc is the opposite motion, and is transferred through the chassis, resulting in dropping the nose. If you are going to slow, the brake technique wont be as effective,the gas will. Hope this helps

@ExconFreeride This^^.. My gade bottomed out so hard all the time. Hell, even my X package does stiffened up all the way ( time for shock revalve! )
Bad Ass Boys I have a couple buddies born and raised in Mass City if you ever get in to that little town you need to go up to the Bluff it looks over the town and i need to say as far as the eye can see.

Loved the ditch bangin section. I ride Bessemer, Hurley often. Their ditches are way better than chicago's.
