My father & I used to go to Municing every year to snowmobile (sled). Such a badass place and the snow & trail combination is hard to beat. Absolutely an awesome place!
Another great episode! Thank you Boondock Nation for making me learn stuff while watching sledding AND adding new places to my already expansive must ride list.
Amazing video guys. I drive 7 hours to Ironwood/Hurley several times a year to ride. I'm trying to venture off into some back-country riding. Where near Ironwood in MI can you go off trail? Any spots you recommend or can share on a map! Thank you.
You guys should make the trip back up again soon, its deeper right now then I can remember it being the past 5 years at least! If you do, you should hit me up and ride some of the mid UP (Lanse, Big Bay, Munising, etc). I know a few crazy locals who know the honey holes and are always up to dangle
Hi my name is Colin I am from ironwood Michigan and was wondering if you guys are planning a trip this year to the up it is currently 4 a.m in the morning and I am getting ready for a big day on the mountain sleds because we just got a fresh 14 inches of snow🤙send it
I've spent days in the backcountry where we weren't more than 5 miles from the cabins in South range and rode from 9am till 5pm and went through a whole tank of gas. Being friends with locals is a plus because they can show you spots that out of towers dont know about and are untracked most of the time
You guys need to come up to Escanaba Michigan in the last week of January, my family does a Relic Ride. Where anyone with a sled can go on a ride and hang out along the trails or you can go straight towards your destination and we have pit stops but if you did come up here i could take you back country riding in my families 12000 acres of land! We also do a show the following day and there are many places to eat in Rapid River Michigan
You guys want to take me out and about in the end of January? Coming over from ND to pick up my new job trailer. Figured I'd make a riding trip out of it
Like how they are all driving mountain sleds when all you need is a short track/crossover. I drove a Indy with 121 track and rode trees all the time. There isn’t that much snow and all your driving on is tree stumps.
You are a clown if you think a trail sled is going half the places these guys ride or i ride in the u.p and no they only get 250"-300"+ of snow a year.riding powerlines is not backcountry riding

Curious to know if when you ride off the trail ....do you even care that your on private property! And that’s how trails get closed because of disrespectful people like you!
Scott Romero yes I do know! I’m from the UP and live here.... and private property is constantly being trespassed on bye all the out of state weekend ditch bitches! Stay home!
@@quentinstore1464 you trail riders are a thing of the past.you need that out of state money to keep your economy going so no I wont stay home. By the way I ride with locals and not all of us are getting your trails closed.those are the trail riders with loud cans who think they own the trails and bar hop and get drunk and ride.thats who is getting your trails closed

Love this show!
Thanks so much! Keep checking back for more '18/'19 riding footage.
There’s so much hidden gold in the UP that most people never see, especially up into the Keweenaw.

I understand you have to pay the bills but more chain saw blade bling and less advertisement.
Eric Graves that was the funniest thing I have seen in a while.
You should go to idaho
How much is the permit to film on the national forest?
It depends on the forest, how many cameras, people on production, etc. but it's usually a couple hundred dollars a day.
Wonder how bad COVID restrictions are going to hurt businesses during snowmobile season this year...
Jeez you boys got to get out to the western mountains of Maine, rangeley jackman eustis if you think the UP is fun
guys drink some monster, redbull or about 100 espresso shot.

Curious to know if when you ride off the trail ....do you even care that your on private property! And that’s how trails get closed because of disrespectful people like you!
You're right Quentin! It would be disrespectful to ride on private property without permission. Good thing we don't.
Quentin Store Feel better now?
Looks like we have a trail nazi. You do know that most of the land in the u.p is state owned land
Scott Romero yes I do know! I’m from the UP and live here.... and private property is constantly being trespassed on bye all the out of state weekend ditch bitches! Stay home!
