It looks like it nearly hit 7500! This is some good stuff! And I like how it settled right back down to that nice lumpy idle without cutting off. I'd be tempted to drive this to work every day and get in trouble with it on the way there 💯
Engine is likely to pop if he consistently runs it thru the traps at 7200+, that engine dropped HP right as windage started to drop oil pressure by 20psi CLASSIC BBC oil not being controlled symptoms.....thats the most important thing this video showed and nary a bit of addressing in video or comments...got to really get the windage under control with those 4.25" stroke and up cranks on BBC...
@@clintbartholomew8005I'd put money on the Chevy create motor that is cheaper, has better aftermarket and after sales support and probably has a better warranty. But, I'm not sure the machining quality would be a good or consistent as a hand built motor.... Customer preference; I don't have the money for a hand built motor.
I noticed a difference in the left and right air fuel ratio. Can you explain why?l Would stagger jetting help to even it out. Do you measure oil temp and try to reach a certain temperature when dyno testing. What weight and brand oil do you use? Would appreciate a response Thanks
Hey bro I have questions about your old V2 streetfighter I have a 21 MT09 and am just super infatuated with the V2 but since I’m on the naked bike trend i have been eyeballing the streetfighter since I’ve gotten my bike😂 but I’m pretty sure the company I work for owns San Antonio cycle plex so I have a chance to buy that bad boy but I was just curious what made you switch to Yamaha because I’m going to be doing reverse what you did
Wow I would like to make my engine sound good like that 5.3lm7 blue print Everything is stock new camshaft 205/217/258/270/112 .030 over stock heads we bring what you have in TX
Okay I'm confused. I saw it go to 885 horsepower correct? You can buy the 632 from Chevrolet with a warranty with over a thousand horsepower How did you put a loppy cam in different heads and get less power out of it than Chevy gives you with a warranty I'm not trying to pick on anybody, there's probably some sort of a racing reason, that I don't know about But it seems to me like you're almost down 150 or more horsepower and then he's going to hit it with a 300 shot, or you could have had a factory motor. You didn't have to change and hit it with a 150 shot for the exact same thing.
That is standard style bbc Chevy head way different then the spread port rolled over head in the new Chevy crate engine. This engine is probably 10,000 dollars plus cheaper

Cam does not appear to be optimum. Not a nitrous guy so not sure how that influences cam specs. Interested in thoughts on this.
