This is one of the nicest and most realistic Christmas hauls I've seen anywhere and I love it. Gifts from the heart from those that know and love you and not excessive to the point of ridiculous. Proof positive that the holiday isn't about mass quantities of stuff. Just added "Human Acts" to my list of books to read.
Love the dainty cross bracelet! I love jewellery that reminds me of Whose I am. And thanks for the book rec! I also love to read, and mostly read fluff 😂, but also love spiritually encouraging and growing reads as well.
So many great take-a-ways here! My daughter loves to try coffee when she travels and will be going to California soon, so I've shared Joshua Tree with her. I love the Bible verse jar! What a perfect gift! God's word is so powerful! And yes, "Knowing God" is a slow, thoughtful read. Thanks for sharing!
Aww the gifts from your kids are so thoughtful ♥️ I LOVE Joshua Tree Cafe! We always go before our drive home to L.A. December no buy was nice and I’m continuing it till I can no longer any longer 😄
@@KarenL3027sometimes the idea is harder to wrap our heads around than the reality of actually doing it, right? Once we get started, momentum helps take over. Keep going!
Beautiful gufts! As an FYI...quartz crystals are not cut (except across the bottom). They naturally form in that crystalline shape...including the top in that prism shape.
I read Greek Lessons by Han Kang in December. It had some glimpses of genius but I don't think it was her best work. Waiting to read The Vegetarian. Enjoy your gifts! They're all lovely.
Hi Hannah! It’s always difficult for me to do a no buy monthly challenge because I love reading comics 😅 but I do limit myself as to how much I can spend on them. Hopefully one day I will be able to do a no buy challenge 😂
Oh gosh, can we declare right now that books of all kinds are excluded from any no buy challenges? 😂 Too hard!! Btw, my husband is an avid comic book reader. Every day! 🤭
@ Yeah, they should be classified as essentials 😂! I do have to admit that sometimes I get carried away because right now I read them online so there are no physical books = no clutter 😅. Right now I am in the process of declutterring my old comic books (too many to count lol).
@@keikei533How about the library? My husband gets the vast majority of his comics from the library and we all get most of our books this way too. It saves a lot of money but also space! We have the NYPL library app that allows us to search for books we want, and then put them on hold. We are notified when the books are ready for pickup, so it’s easy peasy! It may be worth checking with your local library and see what system they offer.
@@hellocatwalkcity I see! Unfortunately the libraries in Japan do not hold comic books (not sure why, maybe because of lack of spaces). There are second hand bookstores that allow you to read in there for free (sort of 😅) but if you want to read the latest comics, you have to wait and I can be impatient sometimes haha 😂.
Thank you for this video. I know you was a Jesus Christ Christian believer. You are so humble and it's in your voice. I love your videos, take what you say to heart about everything, and I have so much respect for you sharing your opinion and advise. I purchase certain handbags because of your suggestion. I have a few luxuries but being that I can't really afford the one I truly want, I purchase the Demellier London bag that you referred, and I am next looking at the Ateliers Auguste bag now which is in my price range. So, I really, really appreciate your videos and I almost live by them. I am currently now working on decluttering because you are so right, I don't need over half of the things I have and you were the person that made be seriously start searching my soul and rethinking about the money I try to spend, that I don't have, and just enjoy the things I already have. Thank you hellocatwalkcity!!!!
Thank you for your kind message. I’m so glad you enjoy the videos. Hope you have fun with the decluttering process! May this new year be filled with lightness and growth for you! ❤️
I love your channel. Please do not start with religious beliefs. Of course you are free to tell us what you belief in and to do what ever you like, but please do not make it the core. There are so many different religions in this colorful world and also atheists who watch your channel. I had to stop watching dominique sachse because of that. Greetings from switzerland.
Beautiful Switzerland! One of our favorite places we’ve visited! My faith is an important part of my life and I will always do my best to share in a respectful manner. I, too, have family and friends who are not of the same faith/beliefs and we carry on with love.
I’m also a believer and follower of Jesus, and I have been since I was 14 years old( a long time ago😊) Your bracelet is beautiful. I had a cross necklace, but it broke, so now I’d really like to replace it.🩷
Aw love. Of course we don’t need jewelry as a statement of our faith, but if you choose to, I hope you’ll find the perfect replacement necklace for your broken one. ❤️

Whose I am! YES. ❤️ P.S. Reading fluff is fun too! 😂
Love all your gifts but the rose quarts is absolutely gorgeous! What sweet gifts from your loved ones!
Thank you!! 💕
There is nothing as wonderful as getting gifts from your children, especially when they are as thoughtful as yours❤️❤️
Thank you. ❤️

Thank you for sharing your gifts! Very thoughtful!
which perfume samples were you given?
Pacific Chill, Lovers, Stellar Times, Attrape-Reves, Rose des Vents, Apogee, Le Jour Se Leve, Les Sables Roses, Nuit de Feu
💡💡💡I love this, thoughtful gifts are always the best. Thank your son for me, for encouraging you to create this video❤😎
Aww my goshhh! He will so appreciate your comment. I will screenshot it and show him. 🩵
So glad you said, you are a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ.
Me too, thank you. ❤️

Oh wow, so you’ve tried their coffee! Isn’t it delicious? 😋 And good for you, on your no buy!
Amen, Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Beautiful gifts.
Amen! ❤️ and thank you!
I'm now on a January no buy(during Nordstrom's half yearly sale!😂). So far so good......
Yea!! Good for you!
@hellocatwalkcity I thought it would be worse than it actually is. It's tough but not terrible.

So many great and thoughtful gifts! 🫶🏼 you have some great friends and family in your life 🥰 I love the calculator!
Thank you!! If you “love” calculators, we must be kindred spirits! 🤭

Oh thank you for sharing that! I have so much to learn. The idea that this shape formed naturally makes me love it even more! 💕

I heard The Vegetarian is really raw but amazingly written. It may be her best work.
Love that your family and friends all gave you thoughtful gifts. I will check out Joshua Tree coffee.
Ok please do let me know once you try their coffee! 😊
Love your right hand’s ring. What’s the brand of that ring?
Your children are so sweet!
Love the jar with bible verses jar… do you have the link?
I don’t have a link but I just googled “Bible verse jar” and many similar options popped up in the search. 😊
I have the same Kirby from a claw machine at Seaside Oregon
Oh how funny! I am a total sucker for claw machines!!
I 🩷🤍🩷 the calculator your daughter gave you. I myself would sometimes bring an actual calculator when shopping. Punching buttons is sooo satisfying.
Yess!! My daughter told me she chose this one for its “aesthetic and asmr buttons!” 😂
Rocks and Christianity, I knew I there was a special reason I like you. ❤❤
Oh my gosh… ❤️🥹 thank you
