I built my tiny camper from scratch. There’s something wonderful about camping in your own DIY camper whether it’s a trailer or a topper or a van built. I love your cabin feel, I did the same thing. And I have windows everywhere, I love sitting inside when it’s snowing or raining or cold and looking out my windows. This was a really pretty campsite you had.
That’s so neat to hear you built your own as well! Very cool. There is something magical about sitting and enjoying that thing you built With your own hands. Happy trails to you!
Now that is one absolutely gorgeous area! And you sure can't beat a hot cup of coffee while enjoying a breathtaking sunrise such as that either! Stellar video all the way around 👍 Really enjoying your vids by the way. Consider me a new subscriber 👍
Thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement!! I love Acadia and you’re right! A hot cup of coffee to bring in the sunrise, is the best!! Glad to have you here!
Also… just checked out your channel. Wow! Love your stuff. In my younger years I was a wilderness guide, so I love seeing your tips and tricks. Consider ME a subscriber. 😉 I hope to one day be as successful as you and bring others joy through adventure and nature. Well done!! 👏
@@TheWoodsyWoman Absolutely my pleasure! 😊 I've officially put Acadia on my list of "must visit" places after watching this! Have to catch one of those amazing sunrises (with a good cup of hot coffee of course 😉). It's wonderful to be here by the way! 👍
@@TheWoodsyWoman Aww... thank you so much! I can't tell you how much that means to me! (both your kind words, as well as subscribing) - Now it's me that's very glad to have YOU here (well, I guess "there" since this comment is on your channel 😉lol)! Either way, it's a real pleasure :) That's awesome to hear that you were a wilderness guide by the way! What kind of guiding did you do if you don't mind me asking? Also... after seeing just a few of your videos, I have absolutely no doubts whatsoever that you will attain much success and bring joy, adventure, and inspiration to countless others! You've already brought that to me through the videos of yours that I've seen :) Thank you for that! And if there's ever anything at all that I can do to help in anyway, please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know! Much peace to you.... ✌ -John
@IntenseAngler Thanks, John! I did a mix of guiding trips. Hiking, paddling, and winter trips with small groups of young adults. I guided in the north woods of Wisconsin. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for you offer of help. Right now I’m working on getting a larger reach to more people who would like my content. If you have any ideas about that, I’m all ears!! Cheers!!
Beautiful video! I haven't been to Acadia in a bit, and watching your video I was amazed at what I missed! I typically have only travelled there on a bike, but realized that I need to get back there next season and actually have a vehicle as well. LOL! Thanks for sharing!
@@TheWoodsyWoman I have not rode a lot on the carriage trails, although would love to. Quite some time ago, I worked for a bike touring company, and we would take the ferry into Nova Scotia and ride there. Although during that time, the CAT came to Portland, so the ride was moved there. There also used to be a century ride (100 miles) that was held there every fall, and we would climb Cadillac near the end of the ride. It's spectacular to ride down it with all of its turns. Have you rode on the carriage trails?
@@jackiegammon2065 I have biked the carriage trails numerous times. I’ve also biked Cadillac with my mountain bike… that was some huffing and puffing! There is so much to explore. My favorite way of seeing the park these days is on foot. I’m a little jealous over here about Nova Scotia - I haven’t been there yet but it’s on the list!
Very cool! I’d love to hear more about your project. I love Maine. I’m amazed that there aren’t more videos showcasing this beautiful state… but then again I don’t mind it being kept a secret 😉
@@TheWoodsyWoman haha totally good to keep it a secret. I have a video building out the camper portion out of pallets and I plan on another video when I insulate the new topper
Hi everyone! Trying out a new style of video here. What do you think?
Love it! You have an amazing eye for shots, and your editing and pacing are remarkable!

Acadia is my favorite spot! There are so many beautiful places in the park! Do you mostly bike the carriage trails?

Best steak breakfast spot on the Atlantic 😊

Nice set up! I'm building out a tall camper shell too. Nice to see Maine in a video too not enough videos up here.

Love Acadia
Have you been to Bold Coast?
Just north of there in Cutler
I been up there briefly but hope to do a proper trip up there within the next year. Do you have any suggestions?
Are there any areas that you would recommend for car camping. I go to Flaggstaff lake in the summer but I’m looking for a good spot to now.
Hi! Thanks for asking. Are you referring to Flaggstaff lake in Montana? And are you looking for places to car camp in Maine?
I didn’t know there was a flagstaff lake in Montana hahaha. I’m looking for places in Maine to go
Anywhere along the coast you can’t go wrong! Especially the Bold coast area.
