7:42 You in fact can parry him! This game just seems to have a mechanic that when you're a certain amount of levels below and enemy, you can at most block their attacks. I did colossus earlier today at a level 14 or 15 char, and I couldn't parry any of his attacks despite usually being able to parry everything on my other chars
The fact that you can use the key early makes that dungeon layout the fastest! IF you're just boss rushing that is, but as you said, it will not count as a dungeon completion :D
@@dracobellator1164 unless it was updated very recently, like within the last week, it can still drop tomes. They can drop the bunhost set, tomes of experience, as well as the tomes that reset your skill points
@@solarpellets i have farmed the chests myself, i have only see tomes of xp from the 6-12 dungeon and the grove. the drop rates might have been changed for the table or been shifted because of the holiday set.
"it's being homophobic" is going to be my new go-to accusation when I go dry on drops in OSRS. Seriously though, thanks for showing off all the changes, it's motivated me to do another playthrough. Fantastic content, as always.
@solarpellets heavy, from what I played, base attack is slower than polearm, and doesnt necessarily hit harder. The polearm hits at least twice in base attack, so if there were like, a bleed effect on certain weapons, the polearm would probably have a higher proc chance, even if the number is physically lower. The Jump attack though is so fun to just abuse the hell out of. Sorry, autistic rambling
@haydenwillmott4687 my entire channel is autistic rambling, don't worry lol The best in slot for fighter I think is actually a heavy melee, but not by much, so ragespear probably outdoes it at least sometimes
@@solarpellets I noticed Heavy was just barely better than Polearm. A little sad that they're also fairly similar. I like the multihit of Polearm, but I feel like 2 animations would be an excellent distinction, a thrust and a slash as that's how a lot of polearm are traditionally used, rather than just slashing. The Jump attack when upgraded is also similar, so another distinction between the two could be a Thrust that deals similar big damage as the spin but in one or two hits rather than 3-5 (if you can land it correctly). I'd also like to be able to control the landing of the Polearm more, as that backwards leap throws me off so much. I'm excited to try Bandit next, but I'd like to finish the story so far before I go with a new character
The tears are extremely useful in an area like the keep or Tuul Valley since you need to start over completely if you die, and the orbs are used for enchanting, as well, so they're definitely pretty useful in some circumstances
But consumables T_T Honestly, just because I don't have to deal with consumables life tap + restora is better for me, and with how long it takes to drain mana anyway, it's not really an issue.
@ ye I think the dev should rework consumables so that they give you like a debuff making you unable to use a different consumable or cap how many you can use in an area currently they’re a little to good
I like this game but default keybindings are pretty bad especially for the consumables personally I changed f1 to e and f2 to r because consumables are lowkey kind of overpowered. They’re so good I don’t even use healing spells in the late game anymore

Some of my friends play this game. I ultimately got it bc of your videos. This game is phenomenal, I'm hyped for full release!
Is always really nice whenever you talk about Atlyss hehe :3
It's clear how much you care about it and it's really sweet to see
Me watching this preping for when i can actually get it

a note the hidden chest no longer drop tomes of xp but instead the bunhost set, the holiday set and sometimes dyes.

Tomes can still drop as of beta 1.6.2b!
@@GRA004 I have never gotten a tome of xp from the hidden hub chests, only the dungeons. not that tomes of p are any good after the first few level.

Thank you, I'm glad it's enjoyable :3
Fighter arial attack with heavy and polearm go zoomie :3. Just gotta block before landing to keep up momentum

I think the best build for pvp involves sturdy and reflect...
would sturdy work in pvp?
The tears and orbs have no use imo but I'm saving them up. Dying in the dungeon has little punishment and I wonder if that'll change...

Life tap is cool but its kind of useless because mana potions do the same thing, have less cooldown, activate instantly, and don’t take health
But consumables T_T

Once i hit 14 as bandit everything is a joke now. Least thats how i feel.
