Are the techniques you utilize very complex with many steps like DNRS and the Lighting Process? These seem way too intense and involved for someone who is extremely panicked by their symptoms or whatever stimulus. Thanks.
Hi, great question. We've done our best to streamline the whole process and any steps involved to make our program as user friendly as possible, without sacrificing effectiveness. Our program is also broken down into modules and bite-sized 5 minute videos that build on themselves, so as to not overwhelm our members. All of our coaches and creators understand the unique challenges of someone going through chronic condition (as people who've been through it and out the other side ourselves). Feel free to visit this link: re-origin.com/book-a-call/ to hop on a call with us and have all your questions answered : )
Thank you for the heads up! There are ways to retrain the brain. The first is awareness of responses, with the caveat being the narcissist is no longer in my life. 🥹
What's the difference from Exposure Therapy, where you also get gradually into stimuli. I can think of Jeffery Schartz's "You are not your brain". Nothing wrong though with using same idea but in a different, possibly more effective way.
Very similar concepts! We use gradual exposure in the re-origin program, pairing it with other techniques to keep your conscious mind online and limbic system calm.
I still have no clue of what it is. I have been watching so many videos about this promising to explain what it is, and they are just all selling a programme, not explaining one exercice. Sounds like a scam to me.
It is brain retraining. There are different programs, different methods. The can be long and complicated from what I've seen; it can include exercise, counseling, etc. It isn't one simple exercise. I don't know anyone that would do this type of training for free. A person is not going to be better overnight and I believe it takes lots of time and commitment.
@@tinaboon2932I think the issue is that all these videos promise to give you an exercise to try and then they don’t. Most just talk in generalities without one specific thing to do.
Annie Hopper has a book, WIRED FOR HEALING, where you can learn more. I bought her videos years ago. I got better but any additional deeper stress periods trigger the situation all over again. DNRS helped but never healed me & I haven’t been able to work full time for more than a year. 😞
The issue with mcs, is that many people are stuck in a place that they are reacting to 24/7. So it's not introducing something because your always there in a state of hyper reaction
It helps to live in a garage, a tent or something until you know what your normal is then you try to retrain one thing at a time. Two things helped me, one was cardiac coherence breathing while being exposed to trigger and the other was a DIY infrared sauna while being exposed to triggers too.
@@sekischro5093 I am so very sorry to hear what you had to go through. I cannot begin to imagine how horrible that was. 😔 Please know that there can be many causes for CFS. We also offer group coaching as well as live events with experts in the mental health field so our members are given all the tools possible that we can provide to better their health. Our program was also designed by medical professionals and is backed heavily by science. The re-origin program is also completely self-paced and very customizable for specific loops and challenges. re-origin promotes members as individuals; thus we are with you every step of the way. Hi, thanks for sharing your knowledge, I have been looking for a video therapy to heal my brain or reset my brain to heal from fibromyalgia, fatigue, and chronic pain .
Any special advice for a TBI survivor who also experienced trauma at work when I was moved to a different department at my university for a year and then the pandemic hit and I believe I am stuck in a fight or flight mode? A neurologist and psychiatrist have not helped at all. Thank you. Your videos look very informative and helpful.
I have been getting chest pains heart pains.. chest tightness.. mind is racing at night when trying to sleep.. so many thoughts.. and reoccurring outbreaks of herpes virus.. I have been told it’s anxiety and stress although I don’t necessarily feel anxious or stressed I have spent the past 2-3 years overusing my mind I think, constant use of technology analysing financial markets.. learning new things.. 10 hours screen time per day for me is normal.. but is the answer to retrain my brain to deal with this or is it to just switch off for a few weeks.. /months? Then do the training when I come back?
Dealing with the same. As much as it sounds far out there. I believe technology is responsible. I start limiting my screen time and things start to calm down. Unfortunately, there are cell towers and Wi-Fi everywhere and no way to get away from it. Haven’t figured out this one but at least I know what the causes. Hope this helps.
@@theauthormindset yes it’s odd, I don’t think it’s necessarily the technology itself it’s the overuse and overwhelm of constant information consumption I think..
Agreed. But 20 years ago, I was working for a company and I was sitting amongst almost 100 computers in one room every day. I started to notice my system getting weak, and I was becoming more sensitive to electronics TVs cell phones and so on. You’re right it is the exposure, but what can we do adapt? May rewire our brains? Or better yet, go back to the basics and eliminate a lot of the technology, if not all. That is my wish. God bless.

Hello, can this help with HPA axis dysfunction? Low am cortisol due to 2 awful bouts of covid.. it was very traumatic for me, and affected my ANS and POTS greatly .. please help 🙏
Does re-origin have content geared more towards working through emotional trauma/CPTSD or physical trauma, for lack of a better term, that has caused the limbic system dysfunction? I've noticed some are more geared towards relational or emotional trauma processing and others, post-viral or mold, ebv or mcs, etc.
Hi I don't know how I found your channel but I was so intrigued. May I ask, can this help with trauma survivors? I'm constantly having problems with the fight flight freeze fawn, in which I just talked to my therapist today. She suggested a lot of mindfulness exercises, and staying in the body n breath. She also recommended reframing the situation I was stressed over, whether I was caught in fight flight or fawn w the flashbacks. Sort of like instead of going into the traumatic experience, closing the door on it, opening up another door, and walking through to a new environment. Would that be anything similar to DNRS? Thank you for your time.
We've actually done "rewire your brain for better sleep" workshops within our program. Sleep conditioning involves shifting your relationship with your sleeping area, and also overcoming the fear of not sleeping (which paradoxically contributes to the issue). I feel very irritated and also sleepy! So to have to get out of bed and start over seems stressful. Wondering what you recommend.
I used to sleep awesome until a devastating event a year ago that left me extremely overwrought for months; I then suffered horrible insomnia for 6-8 months. It was killing me. I developed leaky gut, digestive issues, debilitating constipation, hives, bone crushing depression. If it weren’t for my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ I wouldn’t have made it. He lead me to EFT. I got a book called EFT for Christians, did what it said to do, and have been sleeping very well since. I do semi-regular EFT now, as it calms the nervous system. I also do deep breathing, 4 seconds in, hold for 7 seconds, long exhale when I lay in bed to fall asleep and it works. Also, long walks in nature, especially after dinner, very helpful. Get rid of the caffeine; that is 100% stress right there. I’m doing the GAPS diet to fix my digestive system; I no longer have leaky gut. I am on the mend. I hope this helps. What’s wrong with someone whose flinch response is always off or slow? For example, if someone touches a hot stove but isn’t scared and doesn’t react as fast when it gets too hot. Is that also a limbic system issue?
A delayed flinch response could be linked to issues in the sensory and motor pathways of the nervous system rather than a specific problem with the limbic system. However, the exact cause could vary, and you should consult a health care professional for further advice.

@@tanyawieczorek6603 I think my condition is on the right path to heal! The prompt I used are from this channel: youtube.com/@happyandfreehealing?si=nOlHzGWXZbWmnyH1
@@tanyawieczorek6603 I read this out loud and recorded myself. Then, I replay it whenever I want, and speak the speaking parts with it: Start by sitting up nice and tall, closing your eyes, and taking some deep breaths. Ground yourself in the present moment, establishing a sense of peace and safety. Feel nice and secure. Deep breath in and deep breath out. You can keep your eyes closed if it’s comfortable or open them if you want to engage in some journaling or drawing during your practice rounds. If you’re having any sort of symptoms, take a moment to tell yourself “it's okay to stop this overreaction of my nervous system.” Take a step back and look at your brain, mind, and body as a team working together but having distinct and separate parts. Say “Limbic System, it's okay to take a break. It’s okay to rest. You are overreacting to these stimuli that are not harmful, but I understand that you're reacting this way because of trauma. You’re reacting this way because in the past we did have experiences that forced this reaction to protect ourselves. But now we keep falling into that same pattern over and over and it's not helping anymore. It's actually hurting. So I give myself permission, I give my nervous system and my limbic system permission to stop, calm down, and rest.” Envision your limbic system like someone at the control room that sets the alarm off when something goes wrong and telling that person to turn the alarm off; “everything is safe and we can rest. There’s nothing else to be hyper vigilant about. Take a deep breath and calm down, we are safe. But at the same time, thank you body, mind, brain, and spirit for working so hard to protect me. We've put so much effort into trying to feel safe and protect ourselves and figure out symptoms, but we don't have to do that right now. We are working on healing, and we are at a place where we are healing every single day, and that healing energy is coming to us. We don't have to strive for it anymore. So, nervous system, take a breath, sit back, and relax. You can switch from fight or flight mode over to rest and digest. You can enjoy life again." Take some time to think about what it will feel like when you are completely healed because you are getting there every day one step at a time. Close your eyes and envision a time and a place where you are totally healthy and healed. For example, you can imagine yourself walking down the beach on a beautiful vacation. You’re not thinking of symptoms and instead, you’re thinking about the feeling of the sand on your toes, dipping your toes in the water, listening to the waves crashing on the shore, feeling energized. “I feel vibrant, I feel grateful, I feel calm, I know that I have the energy to do anything that I want to do on this vacation that I'm envisioning.” I look ahead at the beach and I know that I want to run down to the very end and watch the sun rise. In fact, since my body is healed, it can do anything that I need it to do. I smell beautiful smells all around me; tropical smells, the smell of the sand and the salt, perhaps even the smell of sunscreen. None of is bothering me because my nervous system is healed, so it does not interpret any of these stimuli as dangerous. It only takes things in and is able to address them for what they are, which is neutral stimuli. I am healed in such a way that I feel powerful and my limbic system and amygdala no longer overreact to any stimuli. I can move as much as I want, I can eat whatever I want, I can smile as wide as I want, and I can laugh as loud as I want. I can be around other people and the sights and smells and sensations and bright lights and noises, and none of it bothers me because I feel so inherently and intrinsically safe. Take a few moments to really be in that visualization. Close your eyes and truly feel and visualize the sensations, walking one foot in front of the other, grounding in the sand, hearing the waves, smelling the ocean, feeling the sunlight and the breeze on your face, listening to the sounds around you, and then confirming “I am healing; I’m healing my brain, healing my nervous system, and with whatever else I'm doing that is allowing me healing of my body and my symptoms, I will get to this state of peace with complete certainty and confidence. I'm getting there every day.” Deep breath in, deep breath out with your hands to your hearts center, taking a moment to set this intention. “I am healing, I am safe, I am loved, I am at peace. Doing these practice rounds multiple times a day, visualizing and tapping into a positive psychology of what it will be like when you're healing, you create new neuronal pathways in your brain and tell your amygdala and your hippocampus that it’s okay, you can calm down. Visualizing new memories that aren't even fully formed yet (our brain doesn't know the difference if they're real or fake). So if you can create these core memories and store them in the hippocampus, believing that you’re safe, then the amygdala is no longer overactive during potential stress and fear responses. If people don't address the psychology behind their condition, they can get get stuck in the chronic illness cycle for years and years. Others are able to have these illnesses, setbacks, and traumas and heal perfectly. A lot of it has to do with our own resilience, nervous system, trauma we went through, and the way that our brain has wired ourselves and our limbic system to respond in a physical way, because our brain and body are linked so closely together. Do this every day, putting yourself in these positive, grateful, loving, mindful positions to signal continuous healing.

All of our coaches and creators understand the unique challenges of someone going through chronic condition (as people who've been through it and out the other side ourselves). Feel free to visit this link: re-origin.com/book-a-call/ to hop on a call with us and have all your questions answered : )
you need to keep going . add TRE exercises to lower your nervous system
baselevel .
@schesche69 what's TRE please?
Was hoping to get exercises. Got a plug for his program instead 😢
Thank you for the heads up!
There are ways to retrain the brain. The first is awareness of responses, with the caveat being the narcissist is no longer in my life. 🥹
@@KatWoodland why do you assume we have a narcissist in our lives to begin with?
Try the mindful gardener, his program is free and I’ve learned a lot from him.
There is no scientific evidence that Dr's has positive benefits or is safe. Trust your gut ......
Love this content, came over through Raelen and really happy heard about your info. Thankyou 🙏🏻💛
Great. Glad you find our content informative.
Is this similar to EFT (Tapping)?
This is so good, thank you for introducing this topic. Hope to see more videos from you in the future

@@jeanbob1481what's cardiac coherence breathing?
@@sekischro5093
I am so very sorry to hear what you had to go through. I cannot begin to imagine how horrible that was. 😔 Please know that there can be many causes for CFS. I had a wonderful childhood, and have wonderful parents who have been very supportive, and I have had mild CFS for decades now, and I have had bad brain fog for over a decade as well. I have never been through abuse, and I have been mostly at peace and content my whole life.
I think my point is that please don’t think that because of your abuse that you cannot heal, because there can be so many reasons for why we get these illnesses! I hope that you can move past the pain of those memories, and I pray that you can become fully healed, and fully enjoy life! 🙏🏻❤️
hi, just came across re-origin. i think a question that i have and many others might, is how is this different or is it significantly than Gupta, DNRS, or ANS. and did you try any of those other programs
Hi friend,
That's a great question. A marked difference between re-origin and other programs is our interactive nature with our members. We take pride in fostering a highly dynamic, and supportive community both between members and re-origin staff. The techniques we use are unique to our program and are experiential in nature. So our worksheets and program process are interactive and engaging, enhancing overall understanding and progress in your health.
Our staff is always available if you may need to contact us and our community is highly supportive. If you are looking for a more in-depth look at what our program has to offer, Ben offers weekly group calls to provide more program information and answer any questions! Feel free to sign up for a call on our site. :)
All the best,

The course is too costly for me... how can I join?
God bless.
Can this help with hearing sensitivity as well?? I had since about 15 months now feels like I’m getting worse

Hi. I am not sure how to work on exposure to mold spores. It’s not as easy as foods or perfume you can dose etc. It’s a bit more tricky. Also curious how your program might be different from DNRS. I’d like to be able to “create my own exercises “ so to speak.

Is there a separate set of exercises if your anxiety is around sleep?
We've actually done "rewire your brain for better sleep" workshops within our program. Sleep conditioning involves shifting your relationship with your sleeping area, and also overcoming the fear of not sleeping (which paradoxically contributes to the issue). There's a fair bit to get into here, so if you're interested, I highly recommend checking out our program where you'll also gain access to that recent sleep webinar. www.re-origin.com/program
How does this programme compare to DNRS?
Hi! Can I ask you email us at support@re-origin.com as this is a great question that requires a lot of text and typing!
Can you make a video on what to do if you panic as you’re falling asleep? I have no idea how to help myself when I’m laying there and now aroused when I was trying to drift off. I feel very irritated and also sleepy! So to have to get out of bed and start over seems stressful. Wondering what you recommend.
Did you fix it, and if so, how?
God loves you and is waiting for you to turn to Him. He WILL help you!

You are certainly not crazy, and we are so sorry for what you've experienced! It sounds like you've been through a lot which is very hard on the nervous system- Chronic stress can suppress the immune system and slow healing time. The techniques at re-origin will help you reduce chronic stress and produce valuable neurochemicals to improve immune system function and slowly reduce your symptoms. We'd love to help you!

Since this is their Business, they're not going to give it away for free.
@@seapearltoo1-- True. There are people born with certain problems they didn't ask for and there are always greedy folks to come along to exploit them.

Have you seen cases of skin diseases, which were caused by stress events, recovering with these exercises and brain retraining?
Skin sensitivities can sometimes (but not in all cases) be caused or perpetuated by high levels of stress and inflammation. We have had a number of people in our program see improvements with things like psoriasis, rashes, and skin sensitivities. Of course, these are individual results, and you should always consult your doctor to see what role (if it does play a role) a chronic elevated stress response has to do with your unique condition.

@@tanyawieczorek6603 I think my condition is on the right path to heal!
The prompt I used are from this channel:
youtube.com/@happyandfreehealing?si=nOlHzGWXZbWmnyH1
@@tanyawieczorek6603 I read this out loud and recorded myself. Then, I replay it whenever I want, and speak the speaking parts with it:
Start by sitting up nice and tall, closing your eyes, and taking some deep breaths.
So I give myself permission, I give my nervous system and my limbic system permission to stop, calm down, and rest.”
Envision your limbic system like someone at the control room that sets the alarm off when something goes wrong and telling that person to turn the alarm off; “everything is safe and we can rest.
“I feel vibrant, I feel grateful, I feel calm, I know that I have the energy to do anything that I want to do on this vacation that I'm envisioning.”
I look ahead at the beach and I know that I want to run down to the very end and watch the sun rise.
