Those are amazing rigs. However it seems to me that they are open diff (just one of the tracks spins at around 07:30), am I right? I like them, however If I might to choose I would go with Unimog or similar rig on portal axels with complete set of diff locks and made it tracked (have swappable wheels and tracks).
Two-tracks like the Bombardier are better for his use. It has a zero turning radius (it can turn in place) while the Tucker is more like 50 feet. I've driven both; The Tucker is good for drifts and hauling; the Bombardier is better for soft snow and maneuvering.
@@flagmichael actually it can't rotate on the spot something matt actually covered at one point so it's obviously a smaller radius than the tucker but a larger tracked vehicle would certainly help with the big jobs like that last morr video for example 😉
Always wanted a Tucker, they are a very nice piece of equipment. Winter exploring where very few others can go, and have a heater!
Yes they are great vehicles for sure!

Did these ever come with Detroit Diesels in them? If so, which ones? Those Detroit's would never quit running they were awesome.
From what i heard they had chrysler gas engines and then later on they went to cummins diesel motors.
7:31 You found the crevasse, possibly 1000ft deep.
What did that have to do with a diesel swap
That is a beast. Where did you find that thing. Holy crap. I love it.
It belongs to a good friend of mine!
