The mindset is pretty good. I always feel that the ME2 Adept is more useful as a controller rather than a biotic bombardier. Bastion spec, duration boosts, holding enemies in place for other party members to shoot or detonate, etc. I feel that Warp Ammo would synergize greatly with this build, since you'll be relying on bullets to pop defenses and detonating powers might not always be desirable. (I tend to use Warp more as a Sentinel, since Tech Armor boosts power damage significantly and you're a lot more limited in biotic powers anyway.)
Got to disagree with your starting points. With a level 50+ import, I would drop 2 points into Singularity and 2 points into Warp. After talking with the Illusive Man you will hit level 4 where you can then drop 1 point into both Throw and Pull. Then I would work on Biotic Mastery. I like having all four powers as soon as possible. But then again, I am on Xbox so I can select Stasis as my bonus power immediately. If you cannot, then sure you can ignore Pull and keep Slam. I really like Pull Field as well, but I would still leave it at 1 point until I have Biotic Mastery and then Singularity maxed first. With even 1-point Pull, a Miranda Warp-bomb can stagger mooks in a radius typically long enough to strip at least one shield/armor with weapons and then Pull again. With Thane you can have two Warps.
+RedCaesar97 Starting Warp 2, Singularity 2, Slam 1 at Level 3 is fine. At Level 5, I would probably still not bother with Pull if I am running Slam. If I gibbed in Stasis, then I probably would have Pull, and might not even have Throw 1.
