I was at the metrobeach just yesterday the least i seen was 4 inches. It was looking really nasty in that spot but most was 5 inches. I fished from right at the shore out to 10ft. Water got a little cleaner the further i got out away from the point.
@@JCDropshot agree.. seems 6-8" a stretch though... hasn't froze in a wk!. I'm out anyways. Wheelchairs and sketchy ice don't go good. If walking I'd be one out !!
Well blossom health was destroyed a few days ago one guy braving the honeycomb ice.i was on the pier and it was cracked all the way through in multiple spots and very sketchy looking.im ready for pre spawn smallies screw this 2 weeks of safe ice we get down here lol.
I was the red flip up the daily sail launch at Metro Beach, 6 + inches of ice, but at the end of the day 2 air boats launch and destroy the ice retrieving a sunk Ergo, they gave absolutely no notice to the people on the water they were going to destroy the ramp were people already walked out at

Went out today at the day sail, straight out at the boat ramp. 10ft of water. Ice was 6-8 inches still. Water still super cloudy…

fished fair haven 1/30/24 100 yards off shore had 8-10 inches and further out still had 7.5 inches to 9 inches. lot of perch, water was very cloudy

There was bad looking areas. I messed with the color a little on the clips so the differences show better.
Theres still a few ice fishable areas but im with you fellas, this weekend ill be fishing open water.

Fair Haven dnr launch yesterday 9in of ice super dirty water perch were hitting minnows like crazy 7in perch no keepers for me

Marsh sucked. I checked it on my drive home. I had planned to fish there tomorrow but now I’m not. Not safe and I fish on some stupid stuff.

Airboats destroyed the day sail ramp and left a open broken trail far out into the lake.. really screwed everyone over there..rude!
