  • Seeing as I’ve had this machine for a little over a month now and have run 60 cycles on it what is my overall opinion on it? Will it be one of the best machines I’ve had or is it as bad as the grundig FIBERCatcher and Samsung series 5+ that I had to return to currys 🤔

    Update on this machine:
    So bought this 9 months ago unfortunately now I can no longer recommend this machine or the beko group in general! the machine had a total of 3 engineer visits throughout its short life during the first 2 the knocking and banging was fixed. The banging was caused by a lose bracket that caused the recirculation hose to hit against the side panel. The knocking on spins was caused by 2 faulty shock absorbers that is caused by a design flaw and is a common fault on beko washing machines. The third issue however is VERY SERIOUS! The machines pcb became corrupted thanks to what I believe is malware on the homewhiz app this malware is basically sent through the machines pcb every time you use the machine with the app. This over long periods of use corrupts the software on the pcbs and causes the machine to do dangerous glitches such as getting stuck filling up when it’s not meant to, continuing to spin when it’s not meant to resulting in suds coming out the drawer then proceeding to completely freeze up and some less dangerous but annoying glitches such as randomly pausing itself mid cycle and struggling to tumble (inverter resets).
    Beko have been nothing but trouble and left us waiting for up to 5 DAYS on a response before randomly booking an engineer visit out of nowhere plus they love to basically threaten you that you have to pay £80 if the engineer visit doesn’t suit or the engineer thinks the machine is fine! In the end got in touch with the retailer I bought the machine from and they very quickly managed to get me an uplift number from beko after an engineer survey did reveal the machine was faulty. Regarding the engineer we had the same one come out all 3 times and he along with his team where amazing however due to where I live beko have third party engineers fixing their products rather than themselves like they do in say England.
    This is my second rebranded beko aquatech that has had faults like this in under a year and know a family member who has one (same model as this only branded as being beko) and his also went faulty in under a year too so highly recommend you AVOID THESE MACHINES AT ALL COST especially models with AquaTech, watercare, rapidjet, aquatouch or whatever the sub brand your beko made machine comes from calls the same technology as 9 times out of 10 it will have at least one fault whether it’s minor such as sounding like a jackhammer on spin, a faulty aquatech reed sensor which will be a VERY unknown common problem on these that causes the aquatech system to work incorrectly as the machine will no longer be able to detect where abouts the blue paddle is in the drum or something major such as pcb failure like this has! Modern beko machines are absolutely nothing like their (what where for us) absolutely fantastic predecessors that lasted a long length of time despite the low price. We have decided that budget brands all either don’t last well or don’t suit us anymore therefore we have went and purchased a mid/high end Miele W1. I’ll have more updates on what that machine is like on my channel once I’ve got the machine (if this comment has been up for over a week I’ll already have it 👍🏻)

    very good machine although i'm not too familar with these Beko washing machines, at least you have better luck than 2 previous washing machines you had especially the Samsung one, while i'm currently using it for 2 months and i'm still happy with, your previous one, Samsung series 5+, well what can i describe 😂

    Who knew that washing clothes could have become so complicated? All I want to do is put the wash in, turn it on and go!

      Haha you’re able to make it as basic or flexible as you like with any machine. But this washer turned out to be an absolute nightmare in the long run and constantly had faults :( much prefer my new one so far 🙃

    Compared to the Grundig FibreCatcher with the new drum is this drum bigger or similar to the new drum?

    • @Washerboy2006
      @Washerboy2006  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly I’d personally say they’re about the same size the only differences is that the drum on this is deeper than the grundigs one but the grundigs drum was wider than this (which is why the grundigs one looks way smaller than this when in reality it really isn’t) if you get what I mean 😅

      @@Washerboy2006 yeah I get what you mean and good they look similar in size because many other manufactures are making drums smaller and smaller
      Like indesit 12 years ago 7kg was 7kg
      Now 7kg is more like 5kg

    • @Washerboy2006

      It does have a steam option just doesn’t have a separate steam refresh cycle like new generation models from grundig and beko have

      @@Washerboy2006 but do the LATEST models of Blomberg have the same options with new Grundig and Beko? Which Blomberg model is on par with the best models of Grundig and Beko?

    • @Washerboy2006
      @Washerboy2006  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vittopo786 they’re pretty similar this machine is the latest model of blomberg and is at their top of line. the model on par with this machine is beko B5W5941AW or grundig GW78941FW only difference is that it’s way more sensitive with balancing so it’ll happily spend up to 10 minutes balancing for every spin where as this goes for it pretty much straight away the beko’s do a long 10 minute final spin when doing cottons without fast with a half load we’re as this does a very fast 5 minute final spin instead and I prefer the drum light quality on this as the beko’s use this plastic bracket around it were as this one doesn’t. The balancing and drum light on this is what made me go for it instead of the beko but both give the same fantastic wash results
