This same issue has been bugging me and couldn’t figure it out without having to delete every single node! Thank you so much for this! So helpful. Will save me loads of time 🎉
Great video. Something that will make your life even easier is Centerline trace. It's an extension for Inkscape. It might take folks around 10 minutes to install, but it works the way you want it to.
Thank you so much!! I've tried everything with Vectornator and it just never worked (for some reason it was invisible when I exported it!). I thought I didn't like InkScape but you made me love it hahaha! Thanks again so much! Scoring is just so much better, I absolutely agree!
I’m having this issue as well. This does not work for me in an image that I just drew in procreate. I was sooooo excited when I found this and then so disappointed when I realized it wouldn’t work for my image. When I try deleting the nodes, it fills in the section of the image that I do not want filled in. Still a GREAT video that I saved for future reference with an excellent explanation, just not what I needed tonight.
Yes, this has been driving me insane. Why can we not just draw a single line? By now they should have fixed it...but I don't thinks so. I can't find it. Thank you..
OH MY GOSH GIRL, YOU saved me to much. Thank you!!! I've looked and looked and you saved the day!!
Searched at many videos, and found answer to my problem here...thank you
OMG was this ever helpful! Deleting all the individual nodes of the double lines was killing me. Thanks so very much!!
Thank you!! You have saved me hours of work, and I believe you are the only one answering this question!

You’re a genius! I so appreciate you sharing this video ❤️ it’s going to save so much time so I don’t have to engrave so much!

Do you happen to know if there such a thing as this for Lightburn? I have this same annoying issue in lightburn.
This is what i was looking for, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks...yes this is helpful and is now bookmarked for me! :)
Great video! That was my issue too. I prefer scoring than engraving. Thanks a lot for this.. I will put it into practice right away!

awesome! thank you!
Yeaa excellent excellent thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for posting this. Very Helpful. Have you figured what causes this double line problem and how to prevent it?
It’s basically a rasterized image vs. a vectorized image
HOW TO DRAW TWO LINES FOR EXAMPLE RECTANGLE WITH TWO LINES
Yes thanks so much!!
Thank you!!!
I wish I could figure out how to do this with a full image, not just a single swirl line that is all connected to one penstroke. So frustrating.
