Unpopular Opinion: The omnitrix having aliens without a ton of combat capabilities like Walk-A-Trout or The Worst makes sense because it's not a weapon but a device that is supposed to be used to promote universal understanding and peace. Which is probably one of the reasons why Azimuth didn't like the Ultimatrix because a device that evolved the DNA of aliens to be more combat-centric goes completely against why he created the omnitrix in the first place.
Yeah, it's said the omnitrix had access to more than 1 million samples, probably pretty much the DNA of every species on the universe, and we get to see in the series a lot of aliens without special powers just walking around as human civilians, so Ben surely can turn into them too.

I love the concept of Omnitrix having non-combat/bad aliens because it was meant as a peacekeeping/DNA-storing device. It also challenges Ben who has mastered the Omnitrix and is OP to improvise.
Gravattack is not recognized for his power. He can literally warp space, which means he can also warp time. He has power comparable to Alien X despite appearances. He technically is so powerful it makes sense that the core on his chest is a weak spot; no one could defeat him otherwise.

I was shocked that Kickin Hawk was ranked in the lower side. He's underrated and amazing.
In the latter half of Omniverse, they were basically writing around mandates from Cartoon Network and the toy companies. They were told there were too many aliens, so they had to use the existing ones (and promote one-offs and "joke aliens" to full transformations) to get around that. I.E. When Mole-Stache, Pesky Dust, Walkatrout, and The Worst debuted, the crew had no intention of them being used past that episode. That's also why Ben 10,000 had fusions, as a loophole to bypass the "no more new aliens" mandate.
My personal favorite Omniverse alien used to be Feedback, because how could it not have been, but recently I’ve begun to experience a new found love and appreciation for Whampire. I’ve always loved classic movie monsters like Dracula, the Wolfman, and Frankenstein so I fell in love with the monster aliens right away but I kinda lost interest in the ones like Frankenstrike and Blitzwolfer because they kinda lost a little of what made them cool. But Ghostfreak and Whampire are probably my favorites of the monster themed aliens.
I personally love Toepick, just because it was one of the Original Ken 10 aliens that we never saw in the original series and him finally getting some spotlight on him was super hype for me.
Omniverse theme is soooooo god and underrated, makes me emotional sometimes
Honestly I like all of them, it's fun that they added more aliens on top of all the ones he had previously, it didn't hurt to add any of the new ones I like some more than others I have to admit but I think it's fine

In all honesty I do like the 'worse' aliens in omniverse. I thought I was gonna hate them, but when watching the show its is not like they are super hyped up. They are used to show that ben has mastered the omnitrix and that he doesn't always use the coolest species, some of his aliens are just meh. It makes it feel more real. But hey, I know this is subjective
definitely agree with most of your opinions on them; would probably put astrodactyl a bit lower. but still yeah they shouldn't do my man the worst so dirty. he's super practical. just imagine him in the classic series's "secrets" that would be a sight to see
Yeah, Gravattack has been my Omniverse favourite too. I totally have a soft spot for Feedback, and it's hard for me to dislike any alien at this point too, but the beeg planet boi is so dope and cool looking. It almost makes me want to create a Galilean Sage OC, honestly.
HOWEVER, if I were to rank them (which is very hard for me to do), it would be like this
- Gravattack (Planet Man)
- Feedback (Feel like he deserves #1, but mostly tied with Grav)
- Shocksquatch (The Humungousaur of Omniverse: he's awesome, plus I have a bias with electric aliens)
- Crashhopper (Bug boi and also gigantic jumps)
- Bloxx (I find him a really fun alien to watch on-screen, it's just the same problem with most other people: he really doesn't make sense as an alien species)
- Astrodactyl (He's cool y'all are just mean)
- Gutrot (Always loved his concept, and Rob Paulsen's Brooklyn accent for him)
- Ball Weevil (It's a really simple design but he's just so cool for me)
- Pesky Dust (Aside from the voice he's actually really dope)
- Bullfrag (Need them Battletoads)
- The Worst (I strongly hate the underwear, otherwise he's actually useful for durability)
- Toepick (Wish he wasn't labelled as just scary, he fascinates me otherwise)
- Walkatrout (There's so much strange things about him, not really that bad however)
- Atomix (I just don't get why he exists, but the only thing I remotely like is the fact Ben has another powerhouse alien)
- Mole-Stache (In all honestly, I don't hate him, I just don't give a single fuck about his existence)
It would've been funny if Walkatrot ended up having a really op power that Ben didn't know about.
Hot take
I think omniverse was better structured then UAF,
With UAF the first two seasons of each show would be the same in terms of episode count (13 for alien force and 10 for ultimate alien) while the third seasons would just balloon in length (20 for alien force and 30 for ultimate alien) combied with the amount of filler these seasons had it just makes them more of a slog to get through compared to Omniverse's consistent 10 episodes per season, sure Omniverse has more episodes in total but no one season is so much longer then the others and thus it doesn't feel as padded
3:08 Pesky Dust is male. The only Alien in Ben 10 that might be female is Bigchill. There's different statements from different writers. Some say Bigchill is male. Others say he's genderless. My headcanon is that he's genderless.
I think in UAF Big Chill's DNA sample was from a female necrofriggian but the Omniverse DNA sample was from a male(That explains the bigger chest)

Another cool ben 10 video my dude i've always liked bullfrag tbh the sunglasses make him look cool and the voice sounds good to pesky dust looks decent and it was nice how tara strong voices the alien whampire and feedback are perfect in every way and gutrot had a cool appearance and abilities. Shocksquatch having a complete new appearance to better fit the look of Omniverse was a good idea I actually like how his colour scheme is the same as Batman's yellow and black.
I actually have a head cannon where the lego gorillas are an artificial race made to be toys that were left to be after their creators' passing.

I like Ballweevil, I thought it was unique to have an alien that’s a little bug and not bipedal like 95% of the other aliens.

Honestly, I think omniverse has the weakest aliens in terms of design but Gravattack and Feedback are so great. They feel like classic aliens in the best way possible.

I love this franchise to death and it's comforting to know that even after nearly 20 years the original cartoon debuted, they still have a massive worldwide following. Although, there are some things I would've done differently and one of them is probably gonna be my most unpopular opinion: Ben and Gwen shouldn't have been related. Because even as someone who didn't support shipcest, I couldn't help but grow up thinking "why did the creators make Ben and Gwen cousins instead of just friends? They'd make the best couple!"
Yeah, they were originally friends but the creators needed an explanation for why they're on a cross country trip with his grandpa even though they fight all the time which would explain why their interactions were so awkward. Like imagine a casual viewer watching either of the Ben 10 shows and thinking "are they dating?"
So I googled "what if Ben and Gwen weren't related?" And found a fanfic that asks that same question and it's pretty much retelling the whole series but with that answer. But what he did was make their dads, instead of being brothers, are BFFs who are so close, they consider each other brothers and Frank calls Max his honorary father. And Gwen looks like what her original "pilot" still image was. The important part is that she has blue eyes instead of green eyes like Ben's. Because both kids love Grandpa Max but hate each other, their dads make them go on this trip with him as a way of finally getting to bond. Would it be too forceful for parents to do? Yes, but it's something the creators should've done, especially since the way they were written in the earlier episodes could be awkward sometimes.
If they've done it like this, they could be together. But I don't want them to necessarily become endgame. At the end of the day, they have wildly different interests, especially since Gwen goes off to college in the beginning of Omniverse. I would then have them break up because they're too busy doing their own things that even their superpowers can't get in the way for. Gwen eventually starts dating Kevin and Ben already has basically a large harem and starts dating around with each of them. Maybe he even realizes his sexuality when he starts working so closely with Rook. Hahahahaha!!!!
The Ben 10 writers also aren't the best at romance plots. While I accepted Kevin dating Gwen since they acknowledged the things he did to the Tennysons and spent more time developing their relationship as the franchise went on, I remember Julie not being that interesting of a character and I hated how Alien Force devolved Ben's personality back to his 10 year old self. AND how he and Julie broke up. AND how he and ESTHER broke up! And don't get me started on how lazy his developing relationship with Kai was!

I think Ball Weevil had between 8 and 10 appearances. So not that many times he showed up. Plus, there's been aliens like this since the classic. Greymatter, Upchuck.
Ball Weevil's name is fine. It's a play on "boll weevil", which is an actual insect.
For Omniverse it was the most forgettable series in terms of aliens but I’ve binged Omniverse and half of these guys are not bad I’d sat my favorites are Gravattack Feedback and Shock Squatch.

Feedback one my favorite alien in ben series
I made my own list right before watching this video when I saw in my notifications to compare, and I find it funny that Ball Weevil and Astrodactyl's placements were almost reversed in our two lists. I've never been a fan of Astrodactyl because the organic jetpack makes me uncomfortable, and Ball Weevil is one of my favorite aliens of all time, so it was definetly interesting to compare
I like what you did for blocks and gutrot I feel like there characters was underrated
If i'm gonna describe every alien that appear in the Ben 10 Farnchised it will be like this
1. Classic Series:"Iconic"
2. Alien Force:"OP version of the classic"
3. Ultimate Alien:"The Andromedas wer lit, but the rest are kinda meh"
4. Omniverse:"Wierd but at the same time creative"

The omniverse roster feels much less Iconic compared to OG and AF rosters.
The only thing I like about Gravattack is his ultimate form. I really wish he got more screen time to be honest.

Feedback is also really good, but he's made to be THE alien of ben 10 omniverse, and they don't try to hide it, that's the only thing i don't like about him.

Derrick claimed that there are also aliens in the omnitrix who are not killing machines or superheroes, but ordinary life forms without special abilities. By the way, I prefer more organic-looking aliens, which is why I don't like the design of Atomix or Bloxx. As for the rest, my favorites are Astrodactyl, Feedback and Gravaatack.

I will not take any slander from my boy lodestar. i dont care if Gravattack power crept him quickly i just love his name and his voice.
If I'm being honest, I'm not that attached to most of the Omniverse aliens. I can't really think of too many cool things that they did, I can't really remember any notable episodes that focused on them, and their designs often feel a bit underwhelming. Gravattack and Feedback are exceptions, I loved them.
