Juryrigg’s new outfit is actually based on old-timey aviator uniforms. This is because Juryrigg himself is based on gremlins, which British WWI pilots would often jokingly blame for mechanical failures.
I really like how OV tried to give Ben's aliens more uniformity by adding the green/black/white* color scheme to most of them. It was just lazy for nearly every alien in UAF to have only the Omnitrix symbol slapped on them with some green eyes.
So kinda like classic? Which all had variation of Bens white and black T-shirt

The Omniverse Ultimates are a definite improvement from the actual UAF Ultimates from me
They so fit the idea that their grotesque unnatural evolutions of the base aliens to go through, like getting this power-up VISUALLY u can tell took a lot of blood sweat and tears

I feel like most of the UA aliens got better redesigns in OV. The only exceptions for me are Amphibian, and even through, they never actually appeared in the show Fasttrack and Chamalien.
Fasttrack looked better to me, he resembles a feline creature, something UA's design failed to show as Fasttrack was feline, and I like him more that way
also they made him look so different than XLR8 in OV's design which is a big W
Ampfibian redesign was improvement ,except his eyes.
I loved the ov design for FasTrack actually made him look unique and more feline unlike some kind of fusion between wolverine and some kind of mask

Juryrigg is one of my favorite aliens from the series. I was actually surprised that he wasn’t a OV original alien by how well he fits with the art style
Jurry rig in UAF gave me creeps and tried to be funny but OV takes the cake in that departament
Im kind of disappointed Clockwork isn't on the list Both designs look good.
and not only is his design good, they even made a sort of classic version of clockwork with kid ben and the fact he has a smile is cute

I also really like the omniverse ripjaws design. Not a high bar after UAF ripjaws, but I really like the more defined musculature and the colour palette change

My favs
Ripjaws, Shocksquatch, and Ghostfreak.
defiently although passable in HU shocksquatch looked a bit dull his OV appearance has nicer and brighter colours and a somewhat slimmer appearance. Ripjaws looks good to like his Classic appearance he looks quite menacing and unique in an interesting and amazing way its only the voice i dont quite like its weird. ghostfreak looks good to the chains are a nice touch and is an implication that he is now safe to use

Aviva from Wild Kratts? Now this is a crossover I never expected.
Generally, I do think that UAF had the best designs, but here’s what I will say is better in Omniverse:
- Most of the aliens from classic look better in Omniverse than in UAF. Specifically Diamondhead, Ripjaws, and the ones that were only in the UA intro (aside from XLR8 and Buzzshock).
- Stinkfly’s design in Omniverse is his best design imo. In classic, even though I know where his eyes are, it is still difficult to actually see anything but the Omnitrix symbol as his eye. In Omniverse, they fixed that by giving him pupils.
- Diamondhead’s design is also probably the best in this show. As much as I like the other designs, I prefer when he isn’t part crystalsapien, and I think his clothing in this show goes better with the design than his other versions.
- Shocksquatch and Jury Rigg look WAY better
- Nanomech looks better
- There were some good ideas for certain designs (Goop’s Omnitrix symbol being on his anti-gravity device was a good idea, but he still looks better in UAF.)
- Most of the designs in Omniverse generally are not bad, they just are not as good as what came before. The only ones I straight-up dislike are Rath (his initial design isn’t bad, but I still prefer his UAF design, but his luchador outfit looks stupid on him), Big Chill (I mean, come on man), Eatle (it’s not a bad design, I just have a hard time believing it’s the same alien as UA’s, and I personally refer UA’s cleaner look), Buzzshock (he’s too simple-looking compared to his other designs), Cannonbolt (I don’t like his thinner arms and his face), and Echo Echo (his face also looks bad, and while I thought putting the Omnitrix symbol on his head was smart at the time, in hindsight it just makes his body look bland.).
- Most of the new aliens still look good (Feedback especially), but there are still some I don’t like the designs of (Ball Weevil).

I just wanna say that I think the Chromastone redesign is really cool.
Now before you burn me on a cross hear me out...
I think I was 7 or 6 when I was at my grandma's house watching cartoon network like any other kid would when they had nothing to do and Ben 10 Ultimate alien was on and I was watching the fight against Dagon (and Ben was Chromastone) I know that fight with Chromastone and Dagon didn't last long but that short battle was the first ever bit of Ben 10 I ever saw so I thought that it was the best thing in the world. Fast forward like 2 hours and I guess that they were doing like a marathon of A few episodes of a show before moving to the next ben 10 Show so when I turn the TV back on Ben 10 Omniverse is on and it was the episode titled 'charm school' and I watched that episode and BAM new ben 10 episode And it was the finale of the show and if you know how that episode goes then you know the main alien that was used (other than feedback)

So I rubbed my 2, 7 year old Braincells together and I figure out "oh it's that guy". but back to the main point, the real reason I just think that the UAF design was just too simple, but don't worry I still love the original, Back to the redesign and everything Air hates about it I love about it, Come on the Armored-like face plate that cover's Chromastones mouth looks like he's Actually gonna battle someone and his more bulky body, (really sweet) green cloths with those weird circle wrist band things on his arms and legs only Reinforces my statement. the UAF version looks like he hasn't eaten anything in days I'm not saying that the UAF version is bad because it's amazing but I think the OV design is better.
Oh by the way if you're saying "all those spikes and crystals sticking out he'll get stuck to the ground🤓🤓" those crystals would help him catch, store and use mana energy.
Also he looks like Optimus Freaking Prime now which is also dope.

he does feel somewhat biased against Ov so im gonna be somewhat biased towards ov and say that his UAF design is just bland and empty. It works fine as a base and does fit in UaF but in Ov it wouldn't fit in the series

Great video my bro your attorney video is witty and hilarious lol. i agree with all your picks tbh another non alien character that i think benefited from the OV art style is Jimmy Jones I like the freckles, the # on both sides of his hair, the jacket that looks like ben's from AF/UA and the brown eyes. His design gets a strong 9 in my eyes.

Ben wears green and black clothes in Omniverse that's why when Omnitrix give Ben's alien clothes their colour is green and black, in classic ben wears black and white clothes thats why his aliens clothes are white and black!

U.E.E. has too many useless complications, while the alien (and his basic self itself) are clearly designed to be as simple as possible
U.S. is more about personal taste, I guess. I liked his 4 spider arms better than his extra 4 gorilla arms. It reminds me more about the fact that he is a SPIDERMONKEY, and not a spiderMONKEY (or spiderGORILLA, since this is the Ultimate 😅)

UEE disks being head clones is an instant L, if the head design sucks, for starters...
as for US legs:
1- just because they "look" something to your eyes, doesn't mean they ARE!
2- they were retractable and provided way more AGILITY, instead of unoriginal extra copies of his arms that go back into forgetting about the "Spider" in the name even more than the basic alien does!

Kevin Ov Was A Way Better Design Than The Ua/Af By Far
Most things in Omniverse look better than UAF, but people have rose tinted goggles most of the time

Honestly Jury Rigg is one of my least favorite aliens cause he’s so “Unalien”
I personally would have taken more inspiration from a Gremlin, instead of a pudgy pure naked body, maybe something more scaly, toned body that implies he’s kinda strong despite his size
I would have made his eyes like goggles rather than giving him actual goggles in Omniverse, his goggle-like eyes having the ability to zoom in and out on things
If I have to keep the nose, I would just make it more pronounced to where it’s almost like a beak, or take it off completely and give him slits to nostrils
Get rid of the tail, and maybe give him like a Xenomorph type elongated head that ends in a tail like headpiece that he can use as a third hand and an or an extension cord, implying he can conduct electricity
And that’s my ideal jury rigg :/

Found it funny how JuryRigg gains pupils while most of the other characters lose them, always find that creepy on the human characters, personally, I prefer the original Water Hazard because he's suppose to be a Mollusk, the OV one is a bit too crustacean for my taste

I actually prefer the simplicity of Paradox's old design. It adds to the Dr. Who vibe if he looks like a regular scientist dude rather than an immortal timelord

Personally, I really like the redesigns of Shocksquatch, Jury Rigg, Ripjaws, Stinkfly, Rath, Eatle, Swampfire (blossomed), Brainstorm, Wildmutt, Armodrillo, Ghostfreak, Way Big, Blitzwolfer, Diamondhead and AmpFibian; and I dislike the redesigns of Humungousaur, Echo Echo, Big Chill, Chromastone, Terraspin and Spidermonkey.

I'm actually not a fan of Eatle's redesign, it kind of gets rid of all he had, his identity. Eatle is just straight up Upchuck, and him being less visually distinct from Upchuck muddles the only difference he had, his appearance. He went from a giant robot with sharp metal teeth and into a basic organic lifeform beetle looking guy, which just makes him Upchuck but a bug.
Upchuck and Eatle don't even have any design similarities wdym and the only similarity between Eatle and Upchuck is their eating and attacking powers, when have u seen Upchuck use anything else besides his eating ability? Eatle has a horn and can ram opponents with it, he is way more durable too, on the other hand Upchuck can eat lasers too while Eatle can't, Upchuck could also eat things way bigger than him while Eatle can't
and u didn't just call Eatle's OV design basic when his UA design exists
Whoever said OV Chromastone design is good they're lying they must be watching the show hella high

I think the Professor is now a bit overdesigned...
Something as simple as using fewer different colours could fix that (less sticking-out parts is even better)
I don't he's going to fight in a time war might as well look the part.
he got some upgrades with equipments, that's not what overdesigned is, it's just giving him details which UAF lacked
