I'm new to the fluid art world. 2 months ago I stumbled on a TH-cam video and that's all it took for me to get hooked. I follow several artists and you're my most recent added to my subscriptions (one of my favorites too). Your upbeat style is so refreshing. What I don't see in the description box is what you're using for your pillow, you mention your pouring medium (which I'm happy to say I have the ingredients on hand). I've been working on my bloom techniques, they're getting better, but your work inspires me to do better.
Hey man! Thanks for the kind words. I usually include it. I'm not 100% what i was using at this time...it was at the height of the laint shodtage in the US but now I usd PPG Multipro pastel and white base. It is sold at Home Depot.

I do use water from time to time but very small amounts. So ive learned that paints look thicker on screen that they actually are so it can be a bit deceiving! It depends on the pouring medium that I use if i need water.
None of my CA ever comes out the way yours does. my cells always tiny, my webbing always blockish not smooth and cellular like yours. Been through a dozen recipes, Im at a loss, would give anything to have you here mentoring me.

Im saving up for my first AUs Flo and some decent paints instead of the junk I use from here on island. My local hardware has none of the options everyone seems to love, but I can get American flo from a nearby island. So im saving up and working towards getting the right supplies, before I waste your time on trying to help me. Thank so much, I will certaily get back with you in the future when Im ready to get my game on.

Hey love! These canvases.come in a 4-pack at Michael's. They are 6x6. My cell activator is 3:1 Aussie Floeteol to white paint. The black was actually a color it just took on the effect because it was under the CA.

A little paint under the canvas normally creates a suction and keeps it on.

Do you have silicone oil in your paints to start with? If so, how much do you use?
No. Only the last three used silicone. I used two drops in the paints.
