- Create Gorgeous results with this acrylic pouring technique. I recommend keeping your color selection to a minimum of 3-4 colors to start. The key is not to mix the paints to thin/watery. You can see in the video that my paints are on the thicker side, some even appear clumpy when poured. Lastly, don't over tilt and loose the best parts of your painting (take time to step back and look, then tilt some more).

Beautiful 😊🎉❤
Thank you! 😊
So beautiful, would you share your ratio of water to paint please?😊
Same question here pls❤😂 ty
What would a normal water to paint ratio be? Maybe the artist doesn’t want to share this info, would really like to try this without using a pouring medium…

I'm not sure what the ratio is, but start off with a small amount. Do the drip test, where it drips and holds form for about a second, then flattens out. If it holds form for longer than that then add a little more water. Repeat until you get the desired affect. If you add too much water and it's just runny, it takes a lot of paint to thicken it up. Also, too much water and you run the risk of the paint cracking as it dries. You can also google, "Paint Pour ratios " and you should get a few "recipes" to pick from.
Happy painting

Hi!! I am from the PHILIPPINES
Am 71uyears old ,. I like to paint allso
Beautiful!! Do you have a ratio of paint to water that you use? I have only used paint/pouring medium/water.
Hi Eunice. I've just started doing this at 76 - love it.
👏👏👏😍👍
Is that Prussian blue you used in most of your paintings?❤ love the colors you combined. Very nice
I use Phthalo Blue and I often mix it with a little bit of black
That was fun to watch, thanks
@CANDICECOLORART , I'd like to know how much do you sell your paintings made with pouring, like these ones? Thank you and congratulations!
Excellent!! Beautiful!!
I live in France, we don't have the same brands of painting, pouring, are there any brand you would recommand?
Thank you so much 🤗💜
Hello from the US and Thank You for watching! Any brand of paint that has a nice thick body will work just as well. The only paint that I avoid is the "Ready Pour Paints" those tend to be to watery for optimum results.
@@CandiceColorArt thank you very much!! 🤗👏
Is that Prussian blue?
It's a custom blend of Phthalo Blue and Black
But where is the water
Ah in the paint, duh
This is a paint pour technique that mixes paint with water to thin. This isn’t the type where you mist water onto the canvas or onto paint. 😊
