They add the gratuity BECAUSE of the international guests and others who don’t tip. Would you rather the staff work for free/ less than minimum wage, or do you plan on changing the American system of hospitality workers wages? If you had planned on tipping better than 18%, why punish the server and not bolster the included tip? 🤦♀️ I enjoy your content though! :)
So this one restaurant has to decided to be the pioneers of the 100% auto grat revolution? No other restaurant at the pointe or anywhere else along International drive or Orlando at all that I know of do this. I hope that this doesn’t become the standard because you can’t mandate a tip. Otherwise raise your prices and pay your staff. Oh people will stop going there if they raise prices even higher than they are now, you say? Exactly why this practice is moronic and I will not support them. Thanks for watching!
