Because of mr.bruff i passed my English language exam last year. Really recommend him if your doing your GCSE's.
Chiuy I don't my English lit exam in year 10, some schools make you do one exam the year before so you have less exams in yr 11

Some tips here for effective learning! Do NOT waste your time writing notes. By this, I mean, first, go to the syllabus and write down just go online, and look at some summarized notes. Print them. From these notes, make questions. For example, you’re studying radioactivity in physics; write all the formulas on flash cards and get a piece of paper, any information that is written in the summary that seems important, just turn it into a question but don’t put the answer. See if you you can answer it when you’re done revising.

Navjot S Omg same, for this first week of half term I just wasn't motivated at all, I couldn't be asked to do anything, I only read through my notes and stuff but I'll do an hour today and tomorrow and then from Monday I'll full on revise for this last week, I'm even more stressed coz I have Welsh gcse exam Thursday 19th and it's just stressing me out coz it I don't pass it I'll have to resit it and do it all over again 🤦🏻😔

I did no revision for GCSEs and was getting poor mock results, what got me to Bs, As and A* were TH-cam tutorials. Just binge them and you can do fine.

im just like... why have we learned french so much in school but barely touched spanish...
Another hack that saved me last year for my maths GCSE was learning all the calculator functions. This included plotting graphs etc and a 4 mark plotting graph question came up and it required no maths just inputting the equation on the calculator in a special way. I ended up getting an 8 and I'm now doing a level maths, so if your really pushed for time this is so useful!! Good luck everyone :)

How to revise spanish, and how to remember facts (E.g. History)
Janais Bartholomew hey, for history (A level) i tend to find that i revise best by making flash cards with content tests on them.
As you write them out, you’re revising and then when you test yourself you will be surprised how much you remember.
I hate just copying out from textbooks because there’s so much to learn !!
Also, making sure you’re confident on key events/dates will consolidate your knowledge.
I would just like to thank you Eve so much. Even though A levels or GCSE's do not apply to me because I live in Australia and in year 8, your videos always give me so much inspiration.

try doing practise questions to see if you remember what you've learnt!
Active recall is scientifically the best method of revision so try testing yourself in some way (eg flash cards, exam questions, blurting). It will strengthen the connections in your brain and help things 'go in' ☺️

Is there any1 like me. I dont revise at all. I just do the exam and happen to do well. Maybe its because im not afraid to sacrifoce marks. Remember guys. Its better to finish off something u allready understand so u get total in that specific area. And not to waste time behind something u never understood from the beginning. Work smart not hard. 🤗

Speaking of past papers, it really sucks how there are a limited amount of resources for the new 9-1 syllabus. quite a lot of the questions aren’t relative to our new syllabus in the sciences.

Could you do a video on how to improve speed in exams? The main one I struggle with his history (we have to answer questions with marks 8,8,8,8,8,8,16,20 in 1h 45m) and although I’m capable of answering the questions you basically don’t even have time to think, you just have to write which I find so hard.

I'm still panicking. I do not feel like I've got this because there just doesn't feel like enough time and when you think about the psychology of it, you're only supposed to do two hours before taking two hours off and agh I AM STRESSED.
