Been to Cocos 4 times on the Sea Hunter and Undersea Hunter. Spectacular place to dive. The dive operation and crew are second to none and food on the boat is excellent.
Last time I dove Cocos they weren’t doing night dives, too bad cause there was always a lot of White Tip action. A woman died in a tiger shark attack a couple of seasons earlier and night dives were considered too dangerous. We saw Tigers a number of times on day dives though they stood off quite a distance. Beautiful creatures. I disagree with the narrator’s calling the Hammerhead’s head “grotesque”, I think this adaptation is fascinating.
All these people complaining about the video content 🙄 If you know anything about the Cocos you would know it is a goals dive area. There is no other reason to go there... THANK YOU for this upload. I cant wait to dive there 🦈
I really, really love this channel, it is so educational, you take us around the world 🌎 without leaving our home. Thanks for the great work. And all the thousands of miles you travel to bring us those stories.❤
So appreciative of these educational videos of the beautiful pacific and fragile ecosystems that are protected (so far) from the destruction/ impact of humans. The HD quality/clarity and narration is great.
Went on two 10 day dive trips there and got to summit the island for some spectacular views. Best dive location for me hands down. Most other areas are fished out. Tons of biodiversity and cleaning stations galore.
What an amazing job/career/home for the park rangers‼️ I commend them for leaving this island virtually untouched by civilization. With pristine places like this disappearing everyday, it's a comfort to know that there are still people who revere its magnificence and don't want to see it spoiled by hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, bars and hordes of vacationers and profit seekers. It would be wonderful to see this island every five years, just to see how nature transforms its landscape . Thank you for sharing this documentary. It's a beautiful place.
Beautiful documentary. The mother nature of our little blue planet is really amazing, offering us wonders like this. Only 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 Congratulations
The Park Rangers on this Island found one of the most legendary and rich buried treasures ever found after a big storm eroded the beaches! I just wonder if they were rewarded for telling the Costa Rican Government about the discovery?
I don't understand why these documentaries get so many dislikes, maybe because they so good that you get people trying to bring it down, I can't wait to watch the next one, and the next one, until their no more to watch, then I will watch them again.
Thanks again for this beautiful underneath documentary... This island so beautiful and awesome. God bless to your team and to the men who protects this marvellous island. And Thanks God, indeed you are so brilliant and amazing Creator.

A beautiful island and waters around it. It's great that it is being kept in its natural state. Thank you for sharing a wonderful video and documentary.
Ha ha ha, goodness the commentator's remarks are the best part of this video: "pest control and grooming service, a service that is in high demand, sometimes sharks have to wait in line to be served', that creativity makes watching this so enjoyable.

Yes, it’s “Cocos” Island. I was there back in 1985 as a volunteer with Earth Watch, supporting Dr. Tracy Warner who was doing field research on the Cocos Island Finch, for her PHD. There were 7 of us Americans and 3 Costa Rican National Guardsmen. (Costa Rico had to keep a presence on the island.) We landed in the ocean surf, slept in tents, and bathed in a stream that had been damned up to make a pool. A most magical time!
What a beautiful place on earth! And Yes, it's in the existence. The whole Island is known of its Virginity. The waterfalls, the trees, the sea, the school of different kinds of fishes, the sharks of all kinds, the passing through of a Whale Shark and the Manta rays. All of this was Incredibly Stunning. Wow!! I just hope that Pirates will not visit the Island. For the watchers, please keep safe the Island from the Abusers💕💛 Especially the creatures under the sea.❣🧡🥰
This is really a great documentary not only on the island waters itself, but the circle of life. How some fish actually care for the sharks for example, and don't get eaten.
40:00 I love how Mr.Turtle is just like "Hey sharks you know I ain't your meal, So ima just swim around here while you all go into frenzied attack mode and rip fish to shreds, aight? cool."

I wish I could tell you! so many videos on youtube have CC that are SUPER off. even english to english. Its all AI, so, not sure.
This was very educational but I wish there was more about the island. It was mostly about the water around the island!
I would have liked to see more of the island too, but the Costa Rican government makes it so difficult to land on and explore the island.
It’s difficult to travel through the actual land that’s why
theres certainly more life and more to talk about in the surrounding waters
Thanks for this video!!!! It was so interesting!!!!
These looks like the bestdiving trip ever, Almost everything on my diving bucketlist is there!

Absolutely beautiful. Wish I could go there. Fascinating.
Thanks for the lovely video of te Cocos Island.
Title should say, "The Mysterious waters of Cocos Island"' almost the entire video is about diving...underwater experiences
I agree. I wanted to see the island, not a bunch of sharks.
Yea,i expected to see the wildlife on the island(the animals, plants on the land), not underwater, so, the title doesn't fit at all.
At 54 seconds it shows the name of the documentary: Shark Mountain. Many shows/movies on youtube have the name changed to avoid copyright laws.
thats freaking true
vashantir the name on the video isn’t the actual name of the documentary
Very educational and entertaining ! Thank you .
