The Arboretum is beautiful. It reminds me of my visit to the Viet Nam War Memorial is Washington, D.C. You can't help but get a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye when you seen the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. You hear stories but when you see the names of the men women that the stories are about it really hits you right in the chest.
Richy first time I’ve seen this video Just want to say THANK YOU for the respect you’ve shown through your video at the Arboretum, I’ve visited it on two occasions and hope to visit again in June if time allows.
Good Review mate...I live in Hong Kong at present and I've ridden a DCT Honda over here...did'nt get on with it....It tended to change gear mid corner which was un-nerving to say the least....Returning to UK in 6 weeks for good,,,back to West Yorkshire and to pick up my new BMW S1000XR SE....just hope its a bloody good summer....be great to catch up with you guys for a ride....
Nice job on the National Memorial scene! Very moving!..... Love your videos. If you want to feel some punch take the KTM 1190 A in sport mode for a run. I have a KTM 990 SMT on which I tour (35,000 Km last year) and riding from Adelaide to Sydney in 14.5 Hours non stop apart for fuel and food I felt like I could get on and go back again. Once you get used to the upright position you won't go back!!!! Ride safe!!!
Hi rich just seen this vid I've owned my 15 plate crossrunner for the past 3 years and I love it the vtec does kick in and exhaust note is very noticeable and speed nicely picks up to. Seat is ok but after 100 miles I feel I need to get off, but like you the vfr vtec is a special bike and holds a special place in my biker heart especially as I've owned 3 vtecs and 4 pre vtecs 😉
Hi Richy, no interest in the bikes but i have to agree with FJR Paul, very moving how you filmed the Arboretum, thanks for sharing hope you and Egone enjoy the bikes.
I know this is an old post BUTT what is your TRUE thoughts, my son lol, comparison (I remember my friend turning up on a "TDR 250 in the late 90`s and we all had sports replica 400s(ME VFR 400RR, FZR400RR EXUP,BANANA SWING ARM CBR400RR NSR 400 RR,GSXR 400 RR) but the TDR looked and performed like a dream! and was a demon in the bends but hit the revs limit and held it back!:) PPS The VFR V FOUR has always been a fantastic engine and after honda has been beaten by the stick for all these years by sad competition I feel it is about time the big HONDA firm produce a 10000 cc winner and lay their CAM CHAIN WOES TO REST and CHALLENGE the APRILIA RSV4 REJOICE in the MACHINE:) Long live the V4>
looks like the bikes will make great touring bikes, but sounds like your missing the performance of your bike, guess they will have tuned those bikes for a bit more torque and midrange pulling power thinking of them being loaded up for a bit more sedate bit of touring.
Thank you I came to see the bikes and saw the National Arboretum, as an ex-squadie it meant a lot especially since it was opened after I left the UK

Nice bikes, especially Egones. I thought your handling of the Arboretum was very touching and professional. Well done.
