- Embark on a thrilling motorcycle adventure with four TH-camrs as they explore the breathtaking beauty of Wales. Join us as we ride along stunning coastal routes, discover hidden gems, and experience the warmth of Welsh hospitality.
Our journey begins at the Raven Cafe, where we'll gather on our trusty steeds:
I'm on "Our Keith", the mighty Africa Twin:
@cartzwheels on his new Triumph Tiger Explorer
@CRAZYLEGSONABIKE on a BMW GSA
and
@thepeakybiker also on a BMW GSA
We'll wind our way through picturesque villages, past rolling hills, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of Wales. Our first stop will be the charming coastal town of Tywyn, where we'll spend the night at the Peniarth Arms Hotel, a cozy hotel with a bar and restaurant, log burning stove, really stunning rooms, and most importantly, Guinness.
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to join us on our Welsh adventure! Subscribe to our channels for updates and exclusive content.

This video brought so many smiles to my face, fantastic. A bunch of mates having a day out, brilliant.
Traveled that route over looking the sea many times when I worked in north wales .took mrs wife up there last summer she was gobsmacked how stunning its was great vid rich brings back a lot of memories.
Great video as always Rich ! Lovely ride and great content, thank u
Great video, most enjoyable ❤
Great video. It captured the beauty & spirit of biking perfectly and at in the bar after a good ride, drinking beer and talking bollocks. 👌
That was just ace and great views as always. 👍
This was has made me chuckle, great video guys.
Cartz with that Guinness!, So funny man!!..😂😂🏴
😂😂
Great video 👍👍👍 where you stopped to see the train there is a great campsite Cae du right on the waters edge great sunsets and campfires 👍
Aah nice. I’ll remember that! Cheers!
And Motorbike road racing at nearby Tonfanau !!
Ah lads, that was brilliant. I need a little trip away after watching this.

Ace video, really enjoyed it, top banter with the 4 of you. 👍🏻
Thanks Lee!
@@RichyVida was an ace night out with Bear Grylls 🤣🤣🤣
Great video! Can’t beat a nice cold pint of Guinness!
You got that right!
I’d find it so stressful riding in conditions like that - nice video you absolutely nail this format
Thanks! 👍
great vid richy much better than that green suit crap, the view from the top of the hellfire pass is a belter, one of my favourite roads round there ,pity you were in low cloud
Brilliant lads 👏
Brilliant boys , looks like you guys had a blast 👌🏼
Cracking video I love it. I have only just found your channel I'm hooked keep up the great work.
Awesome, thank you! 🙏
That’s my favourite afternoon ride up to Dinas Mawddwy, ride it all year round and as you have seen can get a bit hairy in places!!
Loved that ❤what a editing masterpiece you are a legend sir 😎👌❤️
Thank you so much 😀
Nice one guys, enjoyed that! 👍
Excellent vid,I do that area alot on my bikes in all weathers and its amazing.
Lake vernwy was once a village but they moved everyone out and flooded it to be the drinking water for liverpool and the Welsh have never forgiven the English for it.😊
Brings back memories of my 1st Guinness at the age of 20 back in 04.
It's an acquired taste. 😂😂
The best of days 💜
Great roads and scenery mate. Looks like a good overnighter.
Great video 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤
6:24 that's Vyrnwy dam. Rode there last June. Cool 🙂
great vid rich
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks like a caterpillars fallen asleep on your lip 🤣🤣 carts 🤣🤣
Hellfire pass looks just as I remember it. Made three attempts to see it on a clear day with my mate from the Met. I'll be making another attempt this coming May. But this one will be a solo memorial ride.
I’m sorry to hear that, Donald. I’m sure the sun will shine on you that day 🙏
The Guinness moment made me chuckle 😂
Haha 👍👍
Cracking video as usual, there's actually only 1 true lake in the lake district. All the others are actually waters or meres.
1st thing I did when I got my new 1200 Tiger was get those god awful Karoo Street tyres off... I went with Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3's .... Great tyre 👍
They are an option, but think I’m going back to the trailmax raid.
Rich , the single track diversion is one of the best single tracks in NW. come down in the summer , that’s one of our locals 😎
Around the lake? Which bit, mate?
@@RichyVidawhen you peeled off the lake road and climbed the single track, the muddy one
Aah great! Yes it was super, with the stream to the left too 🤩
If you’re going to drink stout it has to be Beamish or Murphys coming out of the same Cork brewery.
Albeit I’ve only ever seen it on draft in Ireland.
Great video as always.
Murphy’s over Guinness?! 😳
We only have Murphy’s on the ferry to Spain because they don’t have Guinness. Don’t think I’ve tried Beamish? 🤔 👍
Great vid Richy. Love Wales although it was better in the 80’s when you could pin the throttle down the coast road and over the mountains to Bala. Had a Z1 in those days. Got back from Lake Garda in August (you really need to go), which is 50km3 volume compared to Loch Ness’ 7.5m3. Foods not bad either? 😉😁
I’ve sailed across it, Steve. Yes, it’s massive! 👍
LAKE GARDA is an amazing place spent 3 weeks on holidays there lovely place
With Vyrnwy only being about an hour from my house in Shropshire that's a road I do many times a year. When it's sunny and clear (three days every other year) the views are spectacular, in inclement weather loads of entertainment. About two thirds of the way down towards Dinas Mawddwy there's a left turn that takes you onto a road that runs parallel on the other side of the valley and rejoins a few miles further down. If you give it a go, fold your mirrors in and pray you don't meet anything coming the other way.
shropshire where abouts i am i nshrewsbury ??
@@thepeakybiker just on the outskirts of Telford.
@ no far from me then
Should meet up for a brew sometime
6:32 recognised the dam wall straight away as the WNRR checkpoint was the far end of the dam in '23. I certainly would not have taken some of those sketchy roads you lads rode, well I'm not adventure orientated, and neither is my bike!
Muddy up on hellfire pass , never seen it like that before 😯
Yes loads, too!
Great vid (I love that road past Lake Vrywny). Quick question... What horn are you using?
Stunning 😍 place!
Horn is a Denali Soundbomb
@RichyVida Deffo getting one for my R1250RT!
Yes they’re great 👍
I’m only here for the beer ! Guinness is a favourite of mine but the only beer channel on TH-cam that I watch, “Real Ale Craft Beer” run by a chap called Simon from Barry in Wales doesn’t think much of Guinness at all. He says Guinness is more of a marketing machine rather than a brewer and to some extent I can see where he’s coming from. It’s always hard when you enjoy watching a channel and they are slagging off one of your favourite products, but he makes me laugh 🤣. If there is a point to this comment (!) it’s just to say that dark beers other than the ubiquitous Guinness (still a favourite) are available (if you can find them) 🇬🇧
Interesting comment, Stewy! And yes, to a degree I tend to agree also.
That said, I bloody love Guinness and nothing else comes close….. yet! 👍
Never been to wales on my bike, maybe a New Year’s resolution
same here I have never ridden any bike at all in Wales
What?! Sure you have?!
@@RichyVida I have never ridden a bike in Wales
Lemon sorbet clean pallet
Great vid Richy. When are you going to announce about the January trip? Ice or Desert?
Desert in Feb 🇲🇦
@@RichyVida ahhhh excellent! (In a Mr Burns voice)
What sat nav app are you using there Richy. Is that your aoocci or garmin (the one on your handle bars). Ta
It’s the Garmin on the Africa Twin, Steve 👍
Cheers, I've ordered the Aoocci 6 pro to replace the zumo and wondering if I've made the right decision. Have you ditched the aoocci you reviewed the other week? Ps Happy xmas Richy maybe meet for a rideout one day as not far from Derbyshire hills
Not at all. The Aoocci is on the DE (and now the VFR). I don’t need a CarPlay unit on the AT as it already has one built in the the dash 👍
If ste drank Guinness he would probably be able to grow a proper Tash 😂😂
😆😆😆😆😆😆
its Sorbet that cleans the pallet
Yes! But wondered if there was a drink to “reset”?
He's just had a cider now a Guinness, should have done a 50/50 and have a black velvet. Don't take him to Ireland. Lol
Nice vlog Rich. Did a similar route in spring. That 1st hotel you stopped outside I'm sure the Missindenflyer stopped at on his Welsh tour 😊
I wanna go 🤣
Ive always wondered, as someone who suffers occasional bouts of RLS is Crazy legs in a bike called that because he also suffers RLS? 😂
Hahaha
Hi. What was rhe name of reservoir and that track pls
Lake Vrynwy and Hellfire pass.
This is the reason I refuse to use a comms set when riding - people talking too much with nothing to say. Hats off to the way it’s edited and shot though but more rabbit than Watership Down.
It’d be a damn site more boring (for viewer and rider) without the conversation! 👍
@ Each to their own bud’, but when I put my crash helmet on it’s time for a bit of peace and quiet, we can throw some dits over a wet later.
😂😂😂nothing worse than wet leaves
Pretty sure there is 😂
Richy drink Guinness the way the true Irish did with MILK, and for cowards Black Current
😱
That’s not a Mo
First
must be nice to be close to wales i live in wales and been biking for 40years and wales is getting boring now and england is full of blinde drivers
...top much blablabla 😮 !!!!
You had a few pints of Guinness before typing out that blahblahblah....?
Thanks for your fine forensic analysis.
