I saw the first cinema relay for this a few years ago and finally got to watch it in person twice in Washington DC this summer! I love the Royal Ballet! Someday I'll see them in London!
It's nice to watch, but I wish this scene could be revamped to remind one less of the brutality behind the folklore: after all, such revamping is commonplace in opera - perhaps someone like Matthew Bourne could sort it out?
