Here's a song I wrote about overcoming fear. I really hope you like it! Next month, I'll be releasing remastered versions of "Psychosis," "When Man Meets God" And "The Hero" on my album "Introspection." I spent so much of this year trying to perfect some songs I've done in the past so I could package them in an album format. It's really crazy to have made it to the finish line. I'll probably premiere it in mid November so maybe you all can listen through with me when it drops. Love you all. Thank you thank you thank you of listening. It means everything

Yeah thanks that song does relate to me to when I was about 9 years old my biggest fear was needles 💉 I once had a blood test done at the hospital I was 9 years old at the time back in 90s so I cried a lot and it took me awhile to be brave at something you know it takes patience practice and when I got older I’m more brave now 🤘

I can say this much since the first time I heard Nathan's songs. It has given me a new perspective on life and he has become one of my favorite artists I discovered during Covid along with Mitchel Dae. Nathan, im sure you've heard this sentence before, but your songs have a power. Probably an overused sentence. What personally want to add, is that if you could hear me say it to you, you would hear my voice tremble with emotion. Your songs are helping me so much. Virtue helps me continue to fight against my own porn addiction, and heaven helps me feel my dad close by, whose day of death draws near for the 18th time, combined with my bday (date of my dads death and bday are one and the same), it's truly a bittersweet day. Angels and demons helps me know my dad is protecting me from the other side, And your songs about introspection strengthen my ability to look within. Ive always wanted to make music like this, to be able to dedicate songs to the passing of my dad. I know this comment might be a bit much, but I hope you know that you and your music have become a beacon of hope in my life. I'm trying to hold back my tears as I write this, but Thank you!

Now onto the song! I love the understated confidence in this song. "So make your move, I'll wait, I'm not scared" is too good! It's super fun that it's not about crushing your nightmares so much as outlasting and outperforming them until you can figure out how to leave them behind. I also like the way you sing "I'll find a way out of this nightmare," it gives it a great echoey dream-void atmosphere!

I don't know much about the technicalities of music composition but there's some dissonance/ contrast of a positive and optimistic tone and a dark and pessimistic tone in the music and in the melody.
I'm also loving the more soft vocals. I'm used to big powerful vocals with you which I absolutely love but I also enjoy softer vocals.
