i think musicians give themselves away with little signatures, the drum style of clown core CONVINCES me its louis cole, just listen to the poly rhythms and the ghost notes, undeniable
I'm not so sure. I think Louis pretends he might be affiliated by denying he is.. still, how can anyone be sure. I think Louis is sneaky enough to be double bluffing here
Sam, Sam, and Louis... Love how that sax solo section just after 6 minutes you see Sam Bass just shaking his head in sheer appreciation of how good Sam Sax is... These three are some of my favorite musicians on the planet. Awesome upload... makes me wish I had recorded The Dead Kenny G's when I saw them... right on par with this!
music that gives hope for music itself. simply Awesome. EDIT: if you need proof of Gendel and Cole being Cl0wnc0re just listen to 6:15 and go listen live Computers' sax solo from the clowns' live shows. Ladies and Gentlemen, we truly got them. PS: Genenieve Artadi plays the red light in Brendan Fraser (live) too
@@amyo Hey! I'm fine, don't worry about me. There is a lot of people who need support more than me, but it was very kind. I'm appreciate it, thank you! All of you be healthy and happy! Best regards.
6:40 Tell me this doesn't sound like the exact same chord progression as the breakout section in "Computers" by Clown Core! Not the same exact melody (i.e. exact same notes played in succession), but the chords sound like they're in the exact same key and order as in "Computers".
You guys gotta give us a serious version of the "clown" funk rock fusion art one day there just all bangers with amazing jazz lines throughout the world is ready guys were waiting lol but either way we appreciate any musical interlude you fellas want to put out there
That was a fun night........I was standing behind the REALLY TALL guy that stepped in front of everyone, just as they started!......party foul! :-( Still fun though :-)
Irrefutable proof that Sam Gendel and Louis Cole are ClownCore...nobody I've seen has a silver alto sax with a gold neck piece. Same sax used in the Van sessions.
What happened to clowncore not tryn piss anyone off with the same question but its these guys right?...I love there shit but I still want random ear rape that is there genius
They really need to make friends with a good guitarist. All well and good been able to play guitar as well but they haven't got 4 arms.... Even though it sounds like they have. It's just serrrrriously lacking the guitar bro.
Lois Cole's stuff (knower, clown core) is just about the only stuff I listen to that doesn't have guitar. Though I'm positive he knows some great guitarists, I think it would take away from what they do. The mix hear kinda sucks (can anyone hear the bass at all?) Check out some of their other stuff if you haven't.
thanks, Terek
Only Louis Cole can make a live song and wait five years to release it officially as Nightmare by Knower.
5 years?
@@sourbreinlemain4879 4-5 yeah
If these guys are Clown Core, does that mean the bass player drives the van?
nah, the driver is a bit chubbier
These clowns
Jacob Mann is DJ Driver, just sayin'
Ok the synchronization of drum and sax prove they're clown core
i think musicians give themselves away with little signatures, the drum style of clown core CONVINCES me its louis cole, just listen to the poly rhythms and the ghost notes, undeniable
The instrumentalism is just insane! These guys are taking Jazz in a great new direction!
Damn, that was so locked in. I've never seen three guys play so tight before. Maybe when Yes was at their peak in the early 70s. Just amazing.
This is a real gem. At around 7:45 the composition really takes the musicians a level above their insane skill
Can confirm
YES!
For real!
7:45 sounds like Daft Punk - Motherboard
They're definitely Clown Core. Louis Cole has such a unique style of drumming it's kind of undeniably him at least drumming in Clown Core
well no shit sherlock
I'm not so sure. I think Louis pretends he might be affiliated by denying he is.. still, how can anyone be sure. I think Louis is sneaky enough to be double bluffing here
That's definitely the clown core drummer
Watch his hands
Nah Clowncore is Rod Stewart, catch up
Nature/Nurture Debate #01
Would Sam Wilkes neck be that way if he didn't play bass ?
Nice covers of ClownC0re. I can recognize so many songs.

I JUST commented the same thing before reading this comment, haha. Glad someone else caught it! The key and chord progression are near-identical
6:39 - Computers
Clown Core unmasked
was that a little YYZ motif @ 5:14 or is that what the intro to Toilet sounds like with bass added?
Is toilet a song here? If so, pls drop link...
@@guidosalescalvano9862 Toilet by ClownC0re
You are pregnant
banger ends
Louis grinning
Sam Wilkes still rocking to the expired beat
Sam Gendel simply uncontented
i love how the hits stayed mostly the same in nightmare
That part starting at 06:10 is the backing track of the sax solo in computers from Clown Core. Wonderful tune, I could listen to it for days
YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT MATE . Just did the comparison , Gendel is just let completely loose on those chords in computers
Check out Philip Glass - The Grid from the Koyaanisqatsi score. If that wasn't a direct inspiration I'd be blown away
it's even more obvious in the live versions of Computers
So good - from about 7:45 to about 9:00 lands big time. So good. Thanks for posting this
Raymond Scott smiled on this. Richard James would too.
oh man this is gold. Love sam so much. Going to transcribe the mean it solo someday
I like Sam too.
Which one?
Yes.
sam wilkes, byyyy far one of theee most under rated bassists!!! Hes fuckin incredible"""!!
this is what pre covid was like
Wilkes is such an inspiration man
Please someone what is the song starting at 6:29? Iovely melody
robocop
@@terekvickers8169 do you know where I can find the song? Didn't find it anywhere

Sounds like they are playing a cover of ClownCore - computers @ 6:45
bass is surgically tight
That 'B' @ 2:10 and thereafter - has 'Outer Moat Behaviour' vibe/energy. And @ 6:10 nice section w/ some great arpeggiated chord changes by SG
nice clown core set
this is so beautiful, how the song go changing its awesome, thanks for the upload!

Is this just a jam or is this a recorded song? I would love to here this with proper sound
It became Knower track "Nightmare"
great musical trip. To listen with open hearth!
3 instruments... 3. True musicians.
This is original love these guys keep it going .
What a 'Nightmare'
At 8:11 how is Sam G holding a note while simultaneously playing a riff....or do my ears deceive me??
FX pedals
Love these guys!
This was absolutely filthy, in every good way.
Me encanta❤

Can't really hear the Alto guy...
6:10 is he flanging the saxophone? (passing the sax through a flanger pedal)
Sounds raw to me, I believe he's that good there's no need
he was using a strymon deco
70s had The Crimson King, we have these guys, and I'm so happy :)
Does he hit a sustain pedal or looper or something at around 8:00?
I set his left leg move around as if he's playing with a pedal, so maybe
and then this become nightmare from knower
So cool!
had to listen to this twice just to understand the title of the song
these guys need to go ahead and form a band
They already did, minus Sam Wilkes. It's called Cl0wnc0re. I believe Sam Wilkes regularly plays in Louis' other band, called Knower.
Precursor to nightmare!

Its a Louis Sam-wich.
listened for a bit without watching, theres NO WAY this isnt the guys who did clown core
🤫
Sheet music? Amateurs. Or something
FOR THE RECORD: This group of musicians has absolutely NOTHING to do with Clown Core. 🤣
I don't see how you can have any doubt in your mind that Clowncore is Louis Cole and one of these dudes, now.
I think sax on clowncore is Ben Wendel.
eah
Hell...... 5:10
Computers ….. 6:13
ah the pigeon bass player is here too
That bass player is so underrated
