Thom Gill - The Kingdom
one of my favorite songs of all time, released april 8, 2011
off this album: isthisthomas.bandcamp.com/album/breath
under the tree: jubilee
rare as the goldest dream
the pace of faith, the pace of faith
the faith surpasses faith
now you're stranded in a lost world
come here to me
the kingdom will remain unseen
the kingdom is now
man shows
man tells
man discovers the new world yet again
but i won't let love into my life

Explains why he’s good at guitar. Jazz band
Sam
Thank you for making this video 😊
Peats audio is bad then this other one starts making noise. Difficult to listen to.
His "Diet" didnt work for me, but i still love the guy. RIP.
He doesn't have a "Diet"
@@jd9403 Thats why i put it into quotes.
This punk messing with this meds while Ray was talking
damn he REALLY was a jazz kid
You who make the interview with dr peat should listen and don't do anithing else. You are very disturbing specially for not nativ english spekers.!!! Simply disrespectful 😢
How did ray pass away?
Peacefully in sleep
@@zaidkhan-us1sj yea i head he was batting something. But yea we can go with your answer 👌
Couldn't hear Ray when he was sorting through a box of metal 😂 good content
Ask Ray a simple question and get a complicated answer that is impossible to decipher.
He explains it so well tho
These clowns are stuck in biochemistry and missing all the upstream drivers of light, water and magnetism. They have no regard for environment, which supersedes the biology.
Is that mk.gee as a teenager?
Does anyone know what Ray was battling health wise?
Old age
Thank you so much for this precious gift ❤️
Don't mind me while I stir this box of marbles.
Fr
How do you reduce breathing? What do you mean by this?
sam wilkes, byyyy far one of theee most under rated bassists!!! Hes fuckin incredible"""!!

can you do castle by international matador?
Works well
banger ends Louis grinning Sam Wilkes still rocking to the expired beat Sam Gendel simply uncontented
had to listen to this twice just to understand the title of the song
Keep up man
This is complete BS. You can make up biological stories like this and have them go any way you want. You need to actually test your theories with a well controlled study, not just make up narratives. What he's doing is being the high-priest of a diet religion and he's trying to tell you how to "properly" read the sacred texts. Don't look to gurus to tell you the answers. Edit: I didn't realize ray peat died a year ago at 86. I can understand on some level following someone who looks incredibly young and healthy for their age. But Ray Peat didn't live any extra years with all his theories, for his demographic I would have actually expected him to live to at least 90. Just being an educated non-smoker will get you beyond the average. My beer bellied grandpa lived to 92.
I like what you said. I don't know enough about Ray to know if what you said really applies, but what your said strongly applies to a dude my friend have been following: "Dr" Garrett Smith who claims vitamin A is a toxin at all doses. You described him to a T. The people who do the Peat approach seem to focus primarily on vitality... I don't know what Ray's level of vitality was like but it seemed to be high, as it seems to be for everyone who takes the prometabolic approach. My grandfather was 400lbs from age 40 to age 70. He lived to 86. He may have lived longer than Ray but he never had any strength or energy. All the Peaters i talk to online are strong, full of energy, and have no food reactivity issues.
So what’s ur diet ?
@@anir8023 Vegan for ethical reasons. I'd eat vegan even if I thought it didn't have any additional health benefits. But I do think there are health benefits as well.
@@Heracleetus Regardless of whether a theory is right or wrong, your beliefs about your body and health have a huge impact on your vitality level. Even if it's a placebo effect, that's still an effect. But I think it would be better if they focused on a diet that has shown to improve so aspect of their health at least, because you can get the placebo effect from a health promoting diet too.
@@sketchyemailer101 I emphatically agree
FKR'S are cick !!! Love it............................They need to go get no help ASAP
Love this!! ❤
I miss you Dr Peat , such a smart, kind and moving man. 🙏💜❤️ Rest in peace 🩵🙏

Not being a doctor or PhD, I find this difficult to follow.
U just needa understand the lingo
these guys need to go ahead and form a band
They already did, minus Sam Wilkes. It's called Cl0wnc0re. I believe Sam Wilkes regularly plays in Louis' other band, called Knower.
YEAAAHHHHHH!
Bud Weiss rewatch your video. Your disruption of Ray, who is struggling to speak, was so disrespectful. I see that your channel is new and perhaps you didn’t realize how loud it came across.
Yeah
Very disrespectful to Ray and the audience
Modern microphones are very sensitive. He's just not aware.
Misha is unfortunately bald
I was enjoying listening to Ray Peat, sadly interrupted with the host rummaging through a draw unaware of the noise being made, which was s shame and rather rude. Great to see and hear Ray Peat though.
ray peat is a hard guy to listen to
Uhhh.
He is filth.
I agree. He puts me to sleep so quickly. I find it impossible to NOT tune him out as soon as he starts talking. Like listening to Noam Chomsky.
@@Heracleetus Ah, well, you see, the thing about my way of expressing ideas is that, um, I tend to take a more relaxed approach. It's, uh, intentional, you know? I believe in creating an environment where the information can be absorbed without unnecessary tension. Uh, some folks find it, uh, calming, like a gentle stream of knowledge flowing into their minds. Now, I understand that not everyone resonates with this style, and that's perfectly okay. We all have our unique preferences, don't we? If my, uh, soothing delivery is causing you to drift off or tune out, perhaps it's just not the right fit for your preferred learning style. No hard feelings there. And, uh, as for the comparison with Noam Chomsky, well, it's interesting how different communicators can evoke such varied reactions. We all bring our own flavors to the table, and, um, I respect that diversity in preferences. If my approach doesn't jive with you, that's totally fine. There's a vast array of voices out there, each resonating with different ears.
@@matthewroth8193 😂 you nailed it. Not exactly the speech patterns you would expect from a guy who has a high functioning thyroid and keeps his brain bathed in sugared milk and coffee.

Ray Peat is a perfect physical example of somebody who eats lots of table sugar...sickly looking an not living a long time...
He had smooth skin, thick hair, a razor sharp mind and lived 10 years beyond the national average lifespan for men. Your comment is absurd.
This is the only footage I've seen of ray other than back of a tiger. I didn't know he even owned a webcam!
Man seeng ray face is a godsend
i love how the hits stayed mostly the same in nightmare
Would like to see unreleased videos of him really
Raymond Peat 😊
YEAH TEREK!
I enjoyed witnessing Ray's patience, he listens, doesn't try to interject, and never tries to correct what Misha spoke about. I was waiting for someone to bring up the rise in cortisol and how damaging that can be when fasting. There is no escaping stress, but we don't have to put our bodies in distress mode. I did like how detailed Misha's logging for each client is. That is essential when helping someone arrive at their optimal goals. He only mentioned one client that went from type 2 to type 1 diabetes and I'm curious to know how long-lasting every part of his work really is for each client. I also couldn't help but notice his bald head, which points to many other stressors he is dealing with without knowing it. Or maybe he does know? All in all, this was great to see Ray again. I hope to see more of him live like this. Thank you again for posting!
Yes the bald head indicates stressors
