The only time I came was with my family in the 1960s. I was a small child. The beach was so crowded, I walked a few yards and could find my parents again!

Evening paul, seen it many times people getting caught by the tide coming in quickly around them. We were in cleveleys last week, was a lovely day but the tide was in and quite rough, a couple with two kids letting them go down to the bottom step while the waves lashing over. Couldn't believe what we were seeing, parents sat on the top step, would have took one wave to take them. One of the kids was only about three. Some people ain't got the brains they were born with. Great video mate, cheers.

Hi Paul. Thanks for another very interesting video. I remember the late 1950’s and the 1960’s. was a great time. making sand pies on the beach. the donkey rides all the deck chairs. Looking at the fire brigade on the comedy carpet was also very interesting. a fantastic video. You are always doing a fantastic job. That sounds great. My brother has a bread maker. I don’t have one. Just seen one of your earlier videos. from 6 months ago snow in Blackpool I will go for a walk . It’s going to be up to 28c here today and 30c tomorrow then around 27c the rest of the week. See you in your next video Mildred 👍😎❤️
Hi Nick, it was near North Pier and the surrounding area, people were getting into trouble with the tide coming in really quick, it was hard to hear standing quite far away, luckily everyone got to shore safely, all the best.

If you think the beach is busy you should look at photos from the 50’s and 60’s you couldn’t move on central beach, but nice to see quite a lot there enjoying the weather.

I think it’s normal for any tourist to hear sirens and also to vacation or go in the beach & sunbathe to get a tan. 🏖️ It’s probably not normal for you guys as you don’t get that many hot days to enjoy the beach and sunbathe.
Why would I be sarcastic about how busy it is, very strange you would say this.. compared to some places in the UK it is busy, after all Blackpool is the second most visited place after London. take care.

I remember the days, when you struggled to put a deckchair on the beach, at this time of year, because it was so busy...happy times 😊

Traffic officers don’t book anyone, they get in the way on the motorway. They can’t issue fines
