Decided to get the a53. The only main difference is that when filming in 4k the camera isn't as stable as the iPhone. IPhone looks very smooth while the a53 is wobbling a bit throughout

A very detailed comparison. The A53 outdoor photos look way over saturated when seen side by side with the iphone. If that is people what like well fine... There was one photo showing a hedge with a section that had died. On the iphone it looked a grey colour but on the A53 it looked yellow.

I preferred the iPhone shots most of the time, but who cares? The vast majority of photos I take are of people, I would guess that's the same for most everybody. I wish reviewers would concentrate more on people shots. And you need to use a variety of folks with a variety of skin tones.

In my opinion, they're close about picture quality, in some angles and cameras you can prefer one or another, indoors Iphone 13 is better, as A53 5G has a better portrait mode, etc. But when it comes to videos, there's a huge difference between them, specialy due to the bad stabilisation of A53 5G, it's even hard to compare the quality because you almost can't see it. So, both have close picture qualities, no comparison when it comes to videos, Iphone 13 wins easily on that one. Anyway, I think Samsung is making a great job to have such good cameras in their A line, it definitely does not let you down (I'm using one right now).

Yo compare mi a52 4g con un iPhone 13 pro y si, el balance de blancos y los colores eran más correctos en iphone, pero en algunos casos el a52 tenia muchísima más nitidez que el iPhone 13. Incluso en algunas situaciones, cuando te acostumbras a usar gcam en a52, la cámara stock se te hace muy mala. Saludos

Iphone seems to have more contrasts, but looses some colors in the process (but it doesn't happen always...). Samsung captures a lot of colors but is brighter (loosing shadows). Also, it's like iphone seems builded to do an equilibrate job both in day and during night, while samsung does a better job when there are more colors, but goes not as good as apple in night. But, if during the night there are colorful light, samsung seems to capture them better. In brief, there's not a winner, It's all about personal taste. Still, it's incredible one has the price of the other but doubled. I'm buying A53 btw

For videos (rear camera), quality is very good on the A53 5G, I would say very close but the 4K and 1080p 60fps video stabilisation is bad.
