Love the neighborhood scraping. So much of that stuff ends up in landfills. My Dad was a scraper until he moved to the retirement home. You remind me a lot of him. You love to tinker. Hands never still, mind always working. Recycling sucks. It is all about repurposing!
Mike, I did, with a friend, scrap with a friend. My friend hit a honey hole with 55 55 barrel of copper fittings. We scored $3500.00 at the scrap yard. The next day scored an other $2100.00 with cut 6x6 alum bullets. What a week! This was from a collaspts barn. Awesome!
Mike, those chairs are HEAV-VEE! My brother has successfully worked on power chairs. When you went to pick it up, he said, "Mike, there's latches to release the seat from the base, oh no, he just picked it up? Wow!" I'll tell you Mike, I don't know how you pick up that much weight. Mike, keep cool. Carry a spray bottle with water ( which you can fill half way and freeze ) fill rest with water. Spray your arms and face. It does work in keeping you cool. I did that during hot summers when my a/c wasn't working. Felt great! Be careful with heat, with junking you're the best. Thanks!

Mike. Been playing with a lifting belt idea. Start with 2" webbing make a big loop, catch it between your knees. Throw the ends over your shoulders cross behind your back and fix the ends over your belly. Carrabiner through the loop and you can lift some heavy stuff with your legs not your back. Easy to try and see if it's any use. Keep 'em coming, compulsory watching now
I've noticed some other scrappers here on TH-cam. I think they all want to be you! They also have white trucks and wood side rails. Not to worry though, your the scrap king as far as I'm concerned. Love the singing too!
