For all of you asking about the amp wire, do yourself a favor and buy one of these: mobilemaxcaraudio.com/product/2004-05-06-acura-tl-to-custom-radio-wiring-harness/
Best $70 you'll ever spend. This is prewired with RCAs to work with both the factory speakers, and amp. It is also prewired for a Metra Axxess ASWC-1 universal steering wheel controller. This is literally plug and play, and requires NO cutting of the factor harness. The only thing you have to do is wire a parking bypass, and you're good to roll. They also have a kit that includes the dash kit if you can't find one elsewhere.
I will also note that they primarily work with Pioneer units, but you can specify a different brand when ordering if thats the route you wish to take. Take the time as well to make sure you're choosing the correct harness, because the 07-08 are different from the 04-06.

Just did this on my car. It also took me 3 days and I couldn’t get my backup cam to power on
I tried to tap into the same power source as you except I did the other light. The other light had two green cables and one ground. I think I will try the same side you used to try to power up my backup cam
From what I recall, my camera has multiple power splicing points. I'm pretty sure I used the constant from the back of the deck for camera positive power.
The blue wire from the factory harness connect It to the remote on the aftermarket remote
you just doubled the value of that car.

I have same problem my double din head unit turns on and shows it's on everything works but I lost sound after like 2-3weeks and when I look at my amp it throws a red protection light and then turns off but I checked all the fuses and everything is fine .. so I'm curious what it is? Do I need to have someone look at the wires u did ?

You need to find the wire for the factory amp in the car and hook it up to the blue wire on the aftermarket harness (remote)

The blue wire from the amp on the factory harness, what did you connect that to for the amp to turn on and have the speakers work?
I don't recall, I'll have to check a wiring diagram for the proper color. I may have mentioned it to someone in the past within the comments section
I can get my amp to turn on for interior speakers but it cuts out my air blowers help me do I need a resistor
Air blower?! Are you talking the heater fan? You must have hooked something up wrong. Check your relays
sounds bad because your using a 4 channel which is for voice on bass ..you need a two channel for that

Great video but you don't need to wire tap the steering wheel controls we could have hooked you up with a harness. Check out our channel if you are looking to add an aftermarket radio to your TL and want to be able to just plug it in and have it work with all the factory components.
As its been asked on your channel before, why don't you just tell us how to wire the rca cables for the factory sub. You just want us to BUY your harness. You show the left and right rca input, but do not tell how to wire it? Some of us don't have money to buy harnesses. We are regular people who want to do it cheap. I've been to your channel for information on this car, I own one. I put in an aftermarket deck, but planned on using the factory amp. But no information on how to wire the subwoofer rca's exist. That's some information that would be greatly helpful. My factory sub, still doesn't work. I've tried everything.
@@workaholic9286 here is video that shows the exact wires to wire tap th-cam.com/video/ivrg800Mtuk/w-d-xo.html. Also we say numerous times how to accomplish the install without any of our parts. Our sub retention harness is $20 and it includes the parts needed to keep your factory navigation working. It's saved a ton of people money and time from having to do it themselves.
Bro, look back at your video please. I know about the subwoofer input wire colors. You have one hot, and one ground. But you have two outputs from the deck. So your video doesnt tell how to wire up the preamp for sub input. Do you tie grounds together? And then tie hots together? To have a left and right signal? Cause I've tried that. I've also tried left hot, and right ground. Your harness shows two rca's. Left and right. All you tell in that video is WHAT colors to tap. Not how.
@@workaholic9286 oh I apologize I didn't understand your question the TL has a single voice coil sub sub it only receives one input. Also both outputs on the back of your aftermarket radio for subwoofers are mono outputs so it won't matter if you use the red or white. You could also use a y splitter but it's not necessary.
I've tried that also. Basically left as a mono output. Still nothing. Sub meters at 2 ohm. So I know sub is good. I unplugged battery hot before install. Sub worked before. Deck meters at correct preamp voltage. I'm so frustrated. All I did was install deck. 5 total preamp outs. Wired correctly. But still no sub.
