Please note, family of 4 having 2 packs these twice a week would save 200 bloody pounds, and that’s just for starters. The sooner Tesco start comparing their basket with your basket, sod Lidl, the better off we all will be. Thank you for this comparison. With such a price differential and similar taste, why pay more? The question arises: who is the bigger fool?
Until recently I bought Sainsbury's own label pollock fish fingers in the 30-pack. When I first started buying them three or four years ago I think they cost around the £2.90 mark per pack, but they increased to £3.30 and again, recently, to a whopping £4.00. Needless to say I've voted with my wallet. Better to wait and have the occasional fish supper methinks.

Hi Gareth , I have been to Asdas 😉 bought some of these fish fingers and some of the Just essentials fish cakes, I compared the fish cakes with Birdseye cod fish cakes , couldn’t tell the difference, the just essential were lovely £1.10 for 10😮

There is something new at aldi... 10 mini steak bakes. They are about £1.20 and delicious. Well worth giving them a try.

Bread butter and fish fingers with a cup of tea... Magic. Can't see the point of the dearest ones cause the price difference could pay for the bread and butter and tea. Many thanks for doing these videos I'm working my way through your videos and my brother William and I are doing our own taste tests and changing our grocery shopping habits accordingly.

When it comes to fish fingers, I always buy Birds Eye. Reason being I've tried some lower priced fish fingers and in most cases I've had to throw them out as they were quite horrible. One low price pack of about 38 fish fingers, I bought for £1.00 were so horrible I threw them out and the birds wouldn't even eat them. LOL. Thanks for your review!

Hi Gareth. The yellow essential fish fingers don't look that bad. They would make a delicious parsley Sauce dinner. With New potatoes mushy peas. And them fish fingers. What a treat ! I'll have to try them. See what I think ! Thanks for Sharing. Love to you Maria 💗 xx
