Very nice and I hear about wasp action sports camera that alots people's buy those and I am thinking about buy wasp action sports camera it and it from big 5 sport good store they are on sale and I think u should get one and try out how it go and see how it was different gopro and wasp

@@ML-nj5ob I actually can vlog on the white but I'm not very good at doing it lol. Go ahead and get the black, I might get it down the road when I get more money. I think it's now $50 down to $350 now.
I can’t tell the difference of hypersmooth and stabilizers underwater. The black defy have better colors!

Thanks for the videos. They show clearly the issue with the white balance in the silver and white models. Two questions: Did you use any red filter ? Did you use any housing for the deep part? If not, how deep could it go bare case?

Another great comparison video. Thanks Mitch. Quick question... Did you do any colour correction on your footage, or was the white balance manually set on the cameras? The nice clear Hawaii water definitely helps, but for 33ft depth, there was much less red lost from your images than I expected - especially on the Black camera. Or maybe you used red filters?
I've been working with some scuba footage from my Hero 3+ (without a filter) and it's been challenging to get a colour balance I like. Can't wait to try my Hero 7 on my next dives!

yeah,..,,.first noticed the color differences. The water seemed to act like a natural stabilizer, so not seeing much difference under water. The color though...yes. Thx Mic
I just got my Hero7 White as a quality budget action camera! I thought it looked a lot better than some reviews say so if you want a good yet cheap GoPro, the White works very nicely.

As far as I know, the silver and white are equipped with IMX458 sensor and the black IMX277, which make the differences

Nice comparison video. Has anyone mentioned that it also provides a great 3D view if you stare at the middle image and relax your eyes a bit. Very cool. Your videos are very helpful. Thanks for the effort. Keep up the good work. More 3D footage, please. ;-)

I am looking for a camera which would give me relatively good pictures below 10m. For what i want to do, would you recomend hero 5 black or hero 7 silver if these 2 were the only choice i had?
How deep is it at sea floor? It looks great in color.
Black is amazing, I guess you didn’t have a filter on?
In some scenes ir seems better the white but in others scenes is better black one with clear colors

Did you use a light source when filming underwater or was it just the GoPro ????
The black shows more colour than the White & Silver. I've yet to use mine(Black) under water. Up to now I've used the GoPro 3+ Silver with a red filter on the lens. footage is really clear until you're near the surface & forget to take the lense filter off. I can't wait to use it when we go to Egypt and snorkel, dive in the Red Sea.ps. I see you've fixed your leaky valve on your scuba tank.....

It seems like H7 White has better color grading? Blacks look like they are black, but on H7 Black it seems they have a red tone, like they're washed out...

instead the 7 White beacuse of more + features. I think that 7 Black don't worth money cause 8 Black is out. Am I wrong?

Hello Mic, I have question for ya. I do spearfishing. Usually I use the cam on speargun mount. But I would like to use any type of head mount. I dive with 3mm or 5mm wetsuits. Some use diving mask with camera mount but I don't want this because the mask doesn't fit my face and they're very poor quality. I don't want to use head strap because of too much pressure on my head with diving mask . What do you think ? Did you try any type of head mount with wetsuits ? I have a hero 7 silver and I have problem of white stabilization when I go underwater, everything became blue/green e don't have the real color
Had no idea you are deaf. My lil sis knows sign language and she’s teaching me. Definitely the hero 7 blk has better color contrast. Shows everything so vividly. The clarity of the white and blk were on point. The silver seemed to be off.

If me and my daughter will just be using this for small video blogs and also when we go out on trips etc which would be best? We plan on going to PR in august of this year.
We typically just record on my phone and honestly sometimes it's shitty. BUT the silver and the back are my two options.. Silver of course because of price it's only $20 more than the white. What do you recommend. This would only really be used for small video blogs and trips of course.
