I found your channel a couple of weeks ago & I absolutely love it!!! My husband & I are also an early retirement couple , debt & mortgage free, living on a budget. I am trying to be more frugal with our groceries & your tips & recipes are so helpful. Thank you!
The freezer is my best friend. I cook for 4. Portion and freeze 3. Then after a few weeks I can quit cooking until my freezer is empty. I portion into sandwich size zip locks. Then put those into a gallon sized labeled bag. I can reuse my gallon bag. I cook pasta in water, drain and freeze it plain. Make sure you stop cooking it 3 minutes before time. I do the same with rice. I freeze milk in icecube trays then into ziplock. Perfect for hot coffee/tea/soup. Measure when liquid so you know how many cubes make 1/4cup, etc. I do this with tomato paste. I freeze grated cheese and whack it to keep it unchunked. I freeze lemon slices for my tea. I make flour tortillas, lay flat individually in freezer. When frozen put together in 1 bag. Lol maybe I freeze everything. Fresh grapes freeze well. Lay out flat to freeze. When they are on sale I do this usually in Sept. I peel, slice and freeze bananas. My baking bananas I mash, measure and then freeze. I make various muffins too and freeze. I make my own from scratch pancakes for the freezer. My strategy is each day I make only 1 thing. For ground beef, I take 1 pound and prep 4 ways: taco seasoned, bbq sauced, hamburger patty, and plain crumbles (for casserole or soup). I put into ziplocks to freeze and whack them on the counter. Then I can grab just a handful for a meal, zap with 1/2 teaspoon water. I can make so much variety. I list what I make and how many servings. Then I know and nothing gets wasted as 3 months is about all I can freeze without freezer burn. (I have a fancy food saver sealer but bags too expensive.) Hope this helps. 🤗
Eek. I read some of the comments..goodness...I don't do Amazon, ever. I don't order on phone nor online. I figure the less these companies know abt me the better. Less junk mail in your mailbox or email. Less phone calls from machines or telemarketers. Your info is sold to other outfits. Frills give me chills. I shop Goodwill, thrift stores. I go to the library if I want to read the paper, use the internet on their computer. Get books, or movies. Love the recipes!! I freeze individual meals. I'm a new subscriber, and sure enjoying y'all.
Hi Emmy and Paul. Another wonderful video. Glad you’re staying on track. I’ve accomplished two of my goals for January. Put an extra $100 on my mortgage and put an extra $60 away for gas. Budget for groceries is right on track.
Loved when your son did his cute wink at the camera. You did good reminding everyone to stay focused on our finances at all times...no assumptions. Have an awesome weekend.
In regards to your Amazon refund. Any time you do a return, if you notice, they have return to Amazon account pre-checked. You have to click on return to my account number such and such. The same exact thing happened to me, so I am always sure now to check the my account box. Love your show.
In Germany, you can choose if you want a credit or get your money back if you return something you had bought on Amazon. If you do it online, they show you both options to choose from directly.
Spinach dip is also great added to a frittata or quiche. Wonderful use of dip! I love your creativity. I started a compost recently too using an old tote with holes drilled in the top and the bottom. You channel is a breath of fresh air.
Last year, I grew bok choy and radishes in containers for the nutritional leaves for salads, casseroles, soups and omelets and tomatoes on my balcony. I also made potato skin soup, curried watermelon rind dahl, scrappy soup, bone broth, pickled beets and peanut butter bread in order to reduce food waste, and add extra nutrients. This year I am think of growing on the balcony sweet potatoes for their greens, trying to make watermelon chutney, salsa or jam as well as trying my hand at sprouting. I hope to harvest local figs and blackberries to make more jam this year. Great video
Pantry shelves continues to provide great recipes. Macaroni and cheese from scratch using evaporated milk, a partial cream cheese package, leftover cheese from making a pizza, and a chunk of colby jack, grated 1 leftover slice of bread over the top. I canned pumpkins from the garden, so I used 2 quarts well drained an found a baked donut recipe from king Arthur flour. What a wonderful treat for our bitter cold weekend weather ahead. We are a balmy 14 degrees today, yesterdays 34 was like springtime.
Hi Emmy and Paul. Had leftover lasagna and wanted to change it up for lunch the next day. So sliced it up into strips, dipped it into egg and then seasoned bread crumbs. Fried in oil and made fried lasagna and served with ranch and leftover marinara from making the lasagna. It was delicious and enough of a change from the previous day. Enjoyed your video and thank you for sharing.
Lots of great info in this video, thank you. Doing great with no spend January - actually making some money back - a company I bought a product from for the first time sent me a review and I was honest - did not perform as promised - they refunded total amount spent. Another win - ordered something over a month ago, company charged my cc and no item received. Two attempts to cancel the order were ignored, so I filed a dispute with cc company, sent proof of emails, credited my card. I like when we don’t let these companies get one over on us!
No Spend January has been a complete success... $0 has been spent other than our normal household bills and gas for our vehicles (for work)... I see no spending being a 100% success... Also we haven't bought any questions... we have an overly full freezer and pantry so we are eating from there... And don't worry... we are NOT depleting our stock.. we have A LOT of items in both freezer and pantry
Greetings from Arizona! I just had to tell you I introduced a co-worker (a New Yorker) to your channel and casually mentioned you're also from NY. There was an OMG moment when we clicked on "About". Turns out she grew up in Yorktown Heights. Anyway, I always look forward to your videos and your inspiration for new recipes. P.S. I think your son will be back by popular demand!
Emmy, do you have Kohls stores in your area? Most Kohls stores handle Amazon returns. . It’s super simple….you don’t have to box anything up, and you don’t pay shipping or anything. I’m much more inclined to order from Amazon now because returns are no problem. They did give me a credit though, just like you mentioned, so now I am aware.
What a handsome young son! God bless! Good looks and good taste runs in your family! That pasta recipe goes to show how there's no such things as left-overs--- but rather Do-Over meals! Have a great day!
I watch for organic bananas to go in a 50% off bag. For those of you who don't know, you can freeze peeled bananas to use later in pancakes, smoothies, bread or muffins. Your pancakes looked so yummy, Emmy 😋
I had the same issue!! I ordered replacement toothbrush heads for my husband's water pik. They sent the wrong one and then when I tried to replace it I couldn't, I had to return and purchase separately and they did a credit to my account. I didn't know I could call and change, I just did and it will be back on my credit card in 3-5 days. Thanks Emmy!!
Emmy what a great idea for using the dip in pasta! I can’t wait to try in the future. Those pancakes are certainly another try! You are absolutely right about checking your statements catching early is a lot easier to fix! Thank you 🙂 Debby
You are the consumer, you have the power, a power multiplied by grouping with other consumers. I seen housewives in the 70's bend the will of the grocery stores local to me, counters sparce with empty holes in meat counters & what meat shown was brown. Be demanding, ask for managers when opportunities command attention. I sign in the 80's I drove under each day, "It's amazing what you get when you ask for it".
Hi Emmy. Never thought to use dip with pasta, I will have to give it a try and banana pancakes are definitely going to be in my future. Have been eating from the pantry and freezer and cooking at home. Cooking for my husband and myself as well as having my son and his family over a few times a week. So far a different home cooked meal every night (tonight was Shepherd Pie). It's actually been quite fun challenging myself to find new ways to use up the food. We have not had the same meal twice for supper. At the beginning I gave my husband a set amount of cash for the month (and I also got the same amount) to spend as he wants or save. He is not doing as well as I am. So far mine is going into savings. You are blessed to have such a sweet son. Love the videos.
Hi Emmy and Paul Kevin here from Norfolk in the UK just to say my wife Juliana and myself really love your videos you are such a lovely couple and we both really enjoy all your knowledge you share with us all can't wait till I get a notification on my phone that you have uploaded a new video carry on all your great work love and best wishes from a very cold UK
I love Amazon too for many reasons but we have a credit balance with them now due to a returned Christmas present. I will be in the phone today for sure! Watching you guys makes me do more home cooking and keep my kitchen neater and just be more content at home!
With the birth of a child my insurance paid more than the hospital projected ( several hundred dollars); so our part was paid up front. When we got the billing statement it showed it overpaid. They also told us they applied to future use?? My husband said- You are assuming we would use this hospital again! After a serious conversation, they refunded the overpayment. Vigilance pays
When I had first baby with no insurance in 1969 I had natural childbirth and no anesthesia . I got a new bill with added costs after the original bill. It was for anesthesia supplies. I called billing and asked about it. They said everybody having a baby has anesthesia and they mistakenly omited on first bill. I said well I didn't have anesthesia and remove it immediately. So the billing department assumed. And if I didn't question, I would have had to pay. It pays to check every bill. You wouldn't believe all the bills I have questioned and had money credited back in my life of 79 years. It pays to check and to question.
That’s so nice your son could help you film. How cool! It’s really great you do your dinner and movie night together each week. Such a special thing that leads to wonderful memories. Boy that pasta looks yummy!
I love your intros. It's so apparent that you appreciate the simple things in life. Your dinner and pancakes looked sooo good!! I love when you show how you use up your food items. I'm not much of a cook and this really helps me be more creative AND use up my food! Speaking of being aware ... I went to Big Lots last night and bought (2) 4-packs of a beverage that was on sale, along with some other items I needed. I was in a hurry and even though I thought the total seemed a little bit high, I paid and left. Sure enough, today when I entered the money spent into my budgeting program, they charged me for (3) 4-packs, not the TWO I purchased. I'm going to call them tomorrow but I'm sure I'm out of the money. Drives me crazy because I'm trying so hard to save, but this happens over and over again. I usually catch it when this happens, but not this time! UGH!
Amazon did the same to me. I had a gift card balance on there and wondered how I got that. Asked around if anyone bought me a gift card, no one did. I did use it. Then went to return something again and noticed it defaulted to a gift card balance. You have to do a drop down menu that has your payment methods there to pick. I was not happy because now I knew where that gift card came from. Not happy with Amazon. It did teach me a valuable lesson though to pay closer attention.
Always get the name of the person you talk to. I write this down and the date I talked to the representative. The freezer inventory is the best saver I have ever done. I now use the older items first. It saves me a lot of money. I enjoy your videos.
Great video ! I just found some oatmeal at Menards 1.99 for a 5lb box plus they had the 15%off bag yep it fit in the bag . Another good meal I can stretch 😀
I agree with you. Always always check the receipt. Clerks make mistakes as we do. Just sharing-we visited Turkey b4 covid and what I found strange was there's no price tags on items at most of the shops. Upon checking out at the counter the clerk will only give the receipt upon request And we took this for granted here.....
Those pancakes looked really yummy Emmy 😋 Me and my partner had a similar issue with a takeaway home delivery service here in the UK. Our order which is a rare treat and something that we don't have all that often wasn't delivered and instead of refunding us our money, they put a credit on the account which we didn't want - We ended up with no breakfast and the only option was to buy food at another time which is all well and good but after that experience we would've preferred to have the the actual money back and choose more wisely next time, lesson learned 😉 Hope you both have a good week ❤
Great recipes. We had the same problem with our paper which caused us to unsubscribe. Have learned the hard way to read the very small print. Nice seeing your son. He seems to have inherited the best of both of you. Great blessing.
Thanks for another great video. Love the video intros, they are so beautiful. It was nice to see your son; he was so cute. I think he looks a lot like your husband. I’m like you when it comes to bills - I always review my bills and bank statements, and keep track of all refunds and credits. Your two examples are a good reminder.
Good warnings. I watch every penny so we can enjoy our summer lake place and our winter home where it’s warm. Picked up our grocery order but no fresh chicken with it. But some now if you find them.
My Gran Gran had several pithy money trueisms: 1. No money leaves this house. 2. There IS no money. 3. Don't pay until you see the whites of their eyes.4. Never spend your last dollar. She raised four boys during the Great Depression as a widow in a housing project. From her I learned some very frugal habits and thrifty ways to live. And I learned the greatest lesson of all, that nothing is expensive if you don't buy it. In a consumer driven advertising lead society that can be hard to contemplate. It's important to find alternatives and to simply do without so that the security of owning a home and having no debt can be realized.
I’ve been trying to first look in my fridge and see what has to be eaten up - and I plan a meal around these items. For example - an open bottle of tomato sauce with only half used - I make my dinner to include the tomato sauce. Or I had mozzarella cheese that was coming close to its best before date - so I made a note to use it this week. This new habit has made a huge difference in throwing out way less food.
Emmy, you and Paul are such a blessing to us! Gary and I are 68 and 70, happily retired several years ago. We will try the banana pancakes soon. We live in a condo but with a large deck we can grow container plants on. We have a newspaper (local) that we get 7 days a week. We got locked into the charges for “premium editions” we didn’t know we were getting charged for-6 like you were charged $5.00 each for. Not worth it. We are on chat right now to try and get them to reimburse it. Doubtful they will. I would cancel but Gary loves his daily paper! Also, we were also told Amazon had credited a returned item-like you, they credited our Amazon account. I was able to use it-next time I will ask it to be reimbursed to our bank card. Thank you both for your wisdom!
Our newspaper did the very same thing to us this past fall. The "Special Edition" for us is the yearly paper they deliver every Thanksgiving morning full of nothing but Black Friday ads and I don't even go out on Black Friday! And, get this - it was $7.00!!!! I said that I am NOT going to pay extra for a paper that goes directly into the trash. They refunded me the difference and removed that special edition delivery from our subscription. They also never even asked us if we wanted it to begin with. (It used to be free.) I'm with you Emmy, we always go over all of our bills with diligence to find and take care of any errors. Will you two be affected by the Nor'easter the end of this weekend? We are expected to get 5-10" out of it. And our wind chills tomorrow will be from 25-30 degrees below zero - shiver me timbers, i'll be in front of our woodstove keeping warm. Stay safe and warm you two!
I had the same problem with Amazon and yes I did call and they refused to credit my card back. I than ordered something I knew I needed. i than called and cancelled my membership and they were told why. I also wrote them and explained it all to them and explained that I thought it was a poor practice if not against the law.
Thank you Emmy and Paul for packing so much great content in your videos. With prices rising so quickly we all need this great information. I made the pan sheet sausage dish this week 😋 and I am making the banana pancakes tomorrow! I retire in July and you are helping me reach my goals. May God bless both of you!
Great information. There has been a time or two when I paid a bill late and they added a late fee. I asked if it could be waived and so they did. If I hadn't ask i would have had to pay it. Several years ago I paid a credit card payment late, not only was there a late fee, they had raised my interest rate much higher so I called the company and was told they could lower it again. It is another way to get more money from people who don't check their statements.
Thanks for another positive and inspiring video Emmy and Paul! I would love to learn more about how you compost and garden. I started composting last summer and love the idea of zero waste but it the results were not very successful. And I would like to start gardening more but wasn't even able to keep my basil plant alive last year so I could definitely use some help and guidance lol!
I was a couponer from before I left my parents’ home in the 90s. Several years ago I quit the paper because the value of the coupons for things I use was far, far less than the price of the Sunday newspaper. They had started charging for a digital subscription which I had no interest in reading. All I wanted was good coupons. Saving $1 with a coupon from a paper that cost me $5 was illogical. So I quit the paper and saved the $5 a week which allowed me to spend an extra $1 at the grocery store.
Fun video. We have the same composter and also compost all winter. Frugal January going very well here in BC. Great recipe ideas. I have a banana that needs to be used. Yum! Pancakes tomorrow. Pasta is a super way to use up leftover sauces, dips and veggies. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Hi Emmy, I had the same experience with Amazon crediting my returns to a gift card. It was frustrating. The pasta and pancakes looked delicious! Your Son is very handsome. ❤️
Great video! Amazon does that. I returned a wallet in December. I have vitamins on subscribe and save to get more money off and one of my vitamins said $0.00. I couldn’t figure it out until I realized they refunded my money in the form of a gift card and then used that gift card to purchase the vitamin. 🤷♀️ kind of messed up my budget for a little while. I do cash stuffing, I absolutely love it.. My husband and I are retired and it’s been the best thing I’ve ever started in terms of budgeting. I’m completely addicted to it. It helps me because I have a tendency to be miserly when I’m on a budget and this helps me to spend freely with no guilt if I have the money in my envelope! It also helps my husband when I tell him we don’t have enough money in that envelope to call a service man, you’re going to have to work on it yourself or wait. 😂 It has been very easy doing this low spend January I am very surprised. So far I’ve spent $38 at Walmart on fresh food and $18 at the dollar tree on miscellaneous items and toilet paper. we have saved $600 so far. 🙏🏻 thanks for the video, your son looks like your husband, very handsome.
That has happened to me at Amazon too. When I went to make a purchase it came to $0. I was very confused until I looked into it further. I was quite surprised that they do that automatically unless, like you, you call the company. A side note ... I'm going through and watching all the Zero Food Waste videos. So inspirational.
Hi Emmy and Paul, Have you ever thought about writing a cookbook. It could be a cook what you have in the pantry cookbook. Your no waste cooking is great and very helpful. I'm in CA and 30 degrees is super cold here. Thanks for talking about your experiences with the newspaper and Amazon. It's always good to check statements and know what is going on with your money. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Give Dixie a little pat from me. xoxo,Karen
The latest unspoken charges are when you start a new service setting up your account example. Dentist doctors pest control trash service charges can be 100 plus in some of these. Be aware starting a new Doctor or Dentist or pest control.
Another super video ❤ our Sunday paper is now $4.00 I told my husband he should have left 😀 never again!! Our wins are not spending. Thank y'all so much for sharing your journey and thoughts with us God bless 🙌🙏❤
Motivating always! I always feel I get to visit with a dear Friend that has the same thoughts of saving, being frugal and loving life! It is the motivation that I needed to get things back on track with this months challenge. Thank you, my Friend!
Great video, as always! I keep thinking about the 5-pack of soap you bought last week. It was not a splurge! You did the right thing! However, I would say as soon as your low spend is over, buy one or two more 5-packs of the soap. It is not a waste. You will use it eventually. Never get down to your last bar again! Too many shortages now to chance it!♥️
That pasta dish looks incredible. Can't wait to try it. I'm having a fantastic low spend month. Just my normal bills - utilities, mortgage, etc, and $20 spent on groceries so far. Keep warm!
Oh my goodness when your son came on screen I said he looks so much like Paul. He's a handsome young man. Great ideas for using up ingredients you had left over instead of them going to waste.

Thanks so much Valorie!
Sounds like you are doing great Allison!! Thanks so much!
You made my day with your kind words!! Thank you both!

The "kid" is soo cute! :) What a blessing, Emmy! :) Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
Thank you!
I love Amazon too for many reasons but we have a credit balance with them now due to a returned Christmas present. I will be in the phone today for sure!
Watching you guys makes me do more home cooking and keep my kitchen neater and just be more content at home!
So happy top hear our videos are encouraging! Thank you!
Nice to see your son . Pancakes looked delish .
Thanks so much Mary!
You are such a delight and so smart, funny and wise! I just found your channel yesterday and I am so happy I did! Have a wonderful weekend!
YAY!! Welcome! So happy you found us! Thanks so much!
Absolutely Reba!!
Yes, we enjoy our time together!
UGH!
Oh I totally understand. Hopefully they will credit you! Please don't get discouraged it wasn't a huge loss...
Yes, I saw that now! Thanks so much!
Always get the name of the person you talk to. I write this down and the date I talked to the representative. The freezer inventory is the best saver I have ever done. I now use the older items first. It saves me a lot of money. I enjoy your videos.
Thanks so much Murlene!
Great video ! I just found some oatmeal at Menards 1.99 for a 5lb box plus they had the 15%off bag yep it fit in the bag . Another good meal I can stretch 😀
Oh that's great! What an amazing price!
What a charming family resemblance - your son looks like Paul and even seems to have the same mannerisms when he tastes something.
Thanks so much Naomi!
Wow the paper is even cheaper out of a machine!
I agree with you.
Always always check the receipt.
Clerks make mistakes as we do.
Just sharing-we visited Turkey b4 covid and what I found strange was there's no price tags on items at most of the shops.
Upon checking out at the counter the clerk will only give the receipt upon request
And we took this for granted here.....
Interesting...How would you know you had enough money lol!
Yes! So frustrating especially when you are looking forward to the item!! You have a blessed week as well Bex!
Great recipes. We had the same problem with our paper which caused us to unsubscribe. Have learned the hard way to read the very small print. Nice seeing your son. He seems to have inherited the best of both of you. Great blessing.
Thanks so much Sandra!
Love your channel so much! You are a blessing to all of us!❤️
Thanks so much Neta!
Such a nice polite son- so fun to see him and of course always Dixie in your videos😄
Thank you so much Annie!
What a great video Emmy thanks. Lovely to see your sweet boy making an appearance too 😊
😊 Thank you Joanna!
Thank you so much Antonia!
Good warnings. I watch every penny so we can enjoy our summer lake place and our winter home where it’s warm.
Picked up our grocery order but no fresh chicken with it.
But some now if you find them.
So very smart!!!!
Sweet! Your son reminds me of Paul. Bless y’all!
Bless you right back! Thanks so much
Hey Emmy. Thanks for another great video. Your son sounds just like Paul!
😊 thank you Sarah!
Such wise wisdom! Thanks for sharing Sandra!
You guys are the cutest! I love your videos, energy and authenticity. Big kisses from the Meditterranean ☀️
Thank you so much Eleni!!
Wonderful! It really helps doesn't it!
Emmy, you and Paul are such a blessing to us! Gary and I are 68 and 70, happily retired several years ago. We will try the banana
pancakes soon.
You are so very welcome Katie! Thanks so much for being here!
Yes, they credited me the amount too...thank goodness!! They are saying it might just be rain for us but who knows lol!
Those dishes looked delicious. You have a handsome son!
Thanks so much Gail!
I had the same problem with Amazon and yes I did call and they refused to credit my card back. I than ordered something I knew I needed. i than called and cancelled my membership and they were told why. I also wrote them and explained it all to them and explained that I thought it was a poor practice if not against the law.
Very smart Melanie!
Loved seeing your son. He is a spitting image of Paul. As always, thank you for making this video.
😊 thank you Rebecca!
I keep all of those little scraps in a container by my sink too but they go out to my goat! He is my compost :)
Oh how perfect! Goats are amazing!
Thanks so much! God Bless you as well!
Great video! I enjoying seeing how you utilize ingredients ...or left overs..that you have on hand to make delicous food to eat.
To.
Fried Rice is my favorite way to use up bits of meat. So tasty and cheap. Key is using several day old cooked rice. Many videos on how to.
Thanks so much Mary!
Thanks for sharing! Great advice!
You can check back on some of our older videos from last spring and summer. We show you how to start seeds, compost, garden etc.
Basil can be difficult to keep going,.I encourage you to try again.
@@FrugalMoneySaver Thank you! I will look for those videos!
I'm trying the pasta dish...left over dip but I'm adding some leftover Italian sausage...looks good
Sounds great Pat!
Exactly! Thanks so much Amy!
Yes, no more good coupons and not paying $5 for a paper.
You are a blessing to us too!!
You are so kind Yvette! Thank you!
Spinach dish looks delicious!
Thanks so much!
😊 thank you Danella! So happy you enjoyed the video!
Hi Emmy, I had the same experience with Amazon crediting my returns to a gift card. It was frustrating.
The pasta and pancakes looked delicious! Your Son is very handsome. ❤️
Thanks so much Lisa!
Fun to meet your son!!!!!😃
Thanks so much Brenda!
It has been very easy doing this low spend January I am very surprised. So far I’ve spent $38 at Walmart on fresh food and $18 at the dollar tree on miscellaneous items and toilet paper. we have saved $600 so far. 🙏🏻 thanks for the video, your son looks like your husband, very handsome.
WOW!! You are doing just great Penny! Thanks so much!
Looks so good. Waiting on ice and snow in N.C
Stay safe and warm Steve!
Great video ❤️. Emmy your son is adorable ❤️
Thank you!! 😊
That has happened to me at Amazon too. When I went to make a purchase it came to $0. I was very confused until I looked into it further. I was quite surprised that they do that automatically unless, like you, you call the company.
A side note ... I'm going through and watching all the Zero Food Waste videos. So inspirational.
YAY!! Hope you enjoy todays 4 meals from one chicken video!
Give Dixie a little pat from me. xoxo,Karen
May be one day lol!! Thanks so much Karen!
Thanks for the info. I have some spinach artichoke dip left. I think I’ll make a pasta bake.
Thanks so much for watching Lynn!
The latest unspoken charges are when you start a new service setting up your account example. Dentist doctors pest control trash service charges can be 100 plus in some of these. Be aware starting a new Doctor or Dentist or pest control.
YES! Thanks David!
Another super video ❤ our Sunday paper is now $4.00 I told my husband he should have left 😀 never again!! Our wins are not spending.
Thank y'all so much for sharing your journey and thoughts with us
God bless 🙌🙏❤
God bless right back Catina! Thanks so much!
Thank you for the heads up.and the interesting recipes.always enjoy them.
Using things we have and
Not wasting items.
You are so welcome! Thanks so much!
Motivating always! I always feel I get to visit with a dear Friend that has the same thoughts of saving, being frugal and loving life!
It is the motivation that I needed to get things back on track with this months challenge. Thank you, my Friend!
Thank you Mary!! So great to have you here!
@@FrugalMoneySaver , I am so grateful to have found you and Paul ❤️
I need to check my Amazon account too. Loved seeing your son and love the weekly dinner and movie.
Thanks so much Stacy!
We compost all winter too
Yes, so smart!!
Too many shortages now to chance it!♥️
No that was a 10 bar pack not 5.
You are so right about keeping your eyes on your bills. We have had similar issues in the past. The pancakes looked yummy. Take care and stay well.
Thanks so much! You too Joan!
Love the compost tips-your necklace is beautiful 🥰
😊 thank you so much Kathleen!
You're very welcome 🥰
Hello from Central Illinois! Not terribly cold with the possibility of snow here. Thank you for your inspiring videos! The pasta looked amazing!❤️🙏☕
Thanks so much Malinda!
That pasta dish looks incredible. Can't wait to try it. I'm having a fantastic low spend month. Just my normal bills - utilities, mortgage, etc, and $20 spent on groceries so far. Keep warm!
YAY!!! Jennifer that is so great!
We compost Paul but we omit citrus onion and egg shells, so it was interesting to see you have added those! Maybe we’ll add them too!
That's interesting...Why do you omit those items?
Oh my goodness when your son came on screen I said he looks so much like Paul. He's a handsome young man. Great ideas for using up ingredients you had left over instead of them going to waste.
😊 thank you Lyn!
