Purchased MY04 with 7k on the odometer back in 2012. Daily drove it for four years and now it sits as a weekend car, only at 47k on the clock. Enjoy yours.
you have a catch can with an in and an out connection to be used when you vent back into the intake. The in port will take a hose coming from your valve cover and the out port will have a hose back to your intake. The can's only function is to catch any oil particles. The way this is connected you're venting your positive crankcase pressure back into your valve cover. You need a breather can with two intakes that will vent you're crankcase pressure into the atmosphere.
@@randomfastwhips that is very cool...thank you for the reply...super nice car btw love the polished wheels against the bright red, even when you're not show and shine ready it's so shiny!
LOL, yep I destroyed my OEM rad the same way. They sell a BOV housing that vents to the side so that solved the issue for me after I swapped the radiator.
no issues in the rear at that height with the added camber but in the front with a passenger on hard bumps I get a slight rub but I have 0 camber in the front
@@randomfastwhips lmk which one you go with and how you like it, if you can remember lol. I heard some good things about the spoon one. Yet to get one myself
Sick car! I want to polish my wheels now as a side project. My SOS kit comes in today, I’m so excited. But I want your opinion. Would you recommend the tial, or just keep the Bosch bpv. Does the tial sound get annoying after a while?
my wheels started out as a polishing side project that ended real quick lol I've heard of the Bosch bpv leaking eventually but that's not why I didn't go with it I like the loud tial bov it didn't bother me at all because it doesn't make any annoying distinctive sounds it only sounds like a fan blowing makes the car stand out pulling up to car shows people knew immediately there's a big blower on that s2k and with the tial if you don't like the sound you can buy the recirculating lower half of the bov and switch it from venting to atmosphere
So clean! FYI most aftermarket lugs are not meant for stock wheels because of the tapered seat.
