Thanks for the review. My buddy recently bought an XSP and it is a very well built machine that is sweet to fly. I have flown and really enjoyed it. May get a pumpkin myself! Autel added things to their controller that I think many people have always wished for on the Phantom controller. I for one laughed a lot at your flashback to Maxx Headroom. I know some others didn't, but I think it was a clever and funny nod to the eighties. For me the comedy made for a different review than the many others out there that are straightforward unboxing and flight reviews. That's a good thing! You can't make everybody happy!

None of my Chinese sponsors sell the XStar, so I bought it myself and "I WILL" give it a 100% "real" review...! DJ SOUL FORCE
We would need for Autel (or some clever hacker) to bridge the gap between the FLIR hardware and the Autel gimbal mount. Clearly, Autel is thinking along these lines by making a quick-release gimbal in the first place, and I seem to recall having discussed the possibility of a thermal imaging payload with them at some point. In short, I can't think of any reason that wouldn't work, but somebody with the required technical know-how will need to do the integration.
Just bought one yesterday and found this video this morning. Nicely done. One trivial question: What are the 4 black square stickers for? I'm guesing they go on the front landing gear legs...replacing what's there if needed. P.S. I also found the Max Headroom bits pretty lame.

Unfortunately, we've never been successful in building a relationship with DJI like the ones we seem to enjoy with most other manufacturers. Consequently, we don't get the opportunity to do reviews on their products.

i had it 5 years ago, first flight, flew away and dropped dead 1 miles away. luckily i was able to return under warranty. since then, ONLY DJI drones!!! 👌👍
I really liked this drone by autel, by since 2018 I have sent my drone back for service #1. Pour connection for video. Then #2. I set up my drone did all the calibration when I pressed take off it went up 10 or 15 feet then went due East by it self, yes broke 2 properties.i sent it in and paid to fix it.#3. Again I did all the set calibration and sent the drone up and again it took off... broken 1 properly and crack the case and the gimbal that holds the camera. I paid to fix it. #4. I set up the drone and again it when up 10 feet and went West, heading straight into 3 people I I pushed the Remote Controls in words. Hoping to under control the people moved and hit a car and put a big dent in the fender... so I called to Autel customer service I talked with a manager on call I expected what took place his replay was.. if you don’t use this drone for for a few months the components my malfunction and cause it to malfunction... I called Tuesday, September, 1st, 2020 at 10:42 am ph. 844.692.8835.

He was from a short-lived by highly influential TV show in the 1980's, whom I decided to resurrect (to the consternation of many viewers of this video) as Max Hexrotor.

I luv this drone, but unlike you I do not like the fact that it doesn't stop quickly after letting up on the joystick. If you're used to other GPS drones that do stop quickly you will have to make sure that you're constantly aware that the ORANGE drone does NOT!! lol

do you have to have data on the phone being used or is it just connecting to the wifi if the drone
george aura with the DJI drones u have to have data to use the gps. But you can still use it without. Not sure about this

Horrible aliasing when you were showing the parking lot. That is totally unsat for any pro use. It is almost as bad as the Mavic
