6 USAF A10 Warthogs Departing Prestwick 27/06/2023

On a rather wet and miserable day on the 27th June 2023 6 United States Air Force A10 Warthogs departed from Prestwick Airport headed back across the Atlantic. A total of 18 USAF Hogs had arrived at Prestwick to make a short stopover at the conclusion of NATO exercise "Air Defender 23".
12 of the A10s had already departed on the 25th (2 returning with tech issues), the remaining 6 following on 27th June. They were supported in their transatlantic crossing by USAF KC135 Stratotankers. Its unknown when the remaining 2 tech A10s will depart, hopefully the weather somewhat improves before then :-)
