    And also I thought the reason why japanese army men are tan/yellow is because of their uniforms

    You thought those were bad. I saw a set based off of Somolian Rebels and one of the figures was a child soldier.

    The most offensive in my collection is a SS soldier performing the Nazi salute by Marx

    I have a set of WW2 army men where the Japanese are a lime green like the one you showed, but the British in that set were Tan and the Americans Green, Germans Grey

    There are also you didn't mention are the Cowboys and Indian(native American)figures because Marx toys and Timmee toys made the Indian(Native American) Red until around I think 2010 Timmee change the indian color red to brown instead to avoid racism against native American community

      I actually have a bunch of those vintage 1/35 scale tim mee figures and they come in a variety of colors. Both those and their line of 1/32 knock off airfix figures come in yellow, red, green, blue and many more. Fort West did have figures in specifically red and yellow, but both the cowboys and Indians share the two colors fairly equally in most sets.

      Persinalmente pienso que el color naranja le queda mejor a los nativos americanos que el rojo.

    I think the colours come from the uniforms in WWII! The Tan are supposed to be Japanese, the Green are American, the blue are Russian and the grey are Germans! Not sure what the British, Canadian, French, Italian and others are supposed to be though. In the Army men games you have 4 teams, Tan, Green , Grey and Blue. I have some of the Army men games by 3DO! My favourite is army men toys in space! I think I saw one in the background of you're vidoes.

      @@CasualChairEnjoyer I have every colour but oranges from BMC toys! I do have some red and yellow soldiers too. I got a big bag of soldiers for Christmas last year, I was really happy to receive them. I'm a man of simple taste. I'm not really bothered with big expensive stuff. If I ever win the lottery I want some one to make me some gold silver bronze and lead soldiers. I'll go to a jewellers to get them to make me some.

      Tbh red seemed to be the British, yellow Italians, idk why really

    • @ronaldmcdonald8303

      @@CasualChairEnjoyer I think the red are British because of the red coat army back in the imperial days. also red is a typical colour for British institutions such as the Royal mail. Our post boxes and older phone boxes are red, the Kings guards wear a lot of red. When we ruled the empire our maps were marked with pink to highlight our territories over seas, not quite sure why they chose pink instead of typical red though. Did you know McDonald's are now doing a temporary cheesy cheese burger, Mr big cheese? I LOVE cheese!!!!

      I always thought that
      Green=American
      Yellow=British
      Brown=Russia
      Grey=German
      Blue=french
      Tan=Japanese
      Pink=Canadian
      olive green=italian

    No creo que una empresa actualmente se atreva a fabricar figuras de plástico amarillo con temática oriental, a no ser que sea una empresa pequeña o independiente, y que sepa ocultarse bien en caso de represalias, solo es una opinión.
