    Ajahn Brahmali was born in Norway in 1964. He first became interested in Buddhism and meditation in his early 20s after a visit to Japan. Having completed degrees in engineering and finance, he began his monastic training as an anagarika (keeping the eight precepts) in England at Amaravati and Chithurst Buddhist Monastery.
    After hearing teachings from Ajahn Brahm he decided to travel to Australia to train at Bodhinyana Monastery. Ajahn Brahmali has lived at Bodhinyana Monastery since 1994, and was ordained as a Bhikkhu, with Ajahn Brahm as his preceptor, in 1996. In 2015 he will be entered his 20th Rains Retreat as a fully ordained monastic and received the title Maha Thera (Great Elder).
    Ajahn Brahmali’s knowledge of the Pali language and of the Suttas is excellent. Bhikkhu Bodhi who translated most of the Pali Canon into English for Wisdom Publications called him one of his major helpers for the recent translation of the “Numerical Discourse of the Buddha”. He has also published two essays on Dependent Origination and a book called “The Authenticity of the Early Buddhist Texts” with the Buddhist Publication Society in collaboration with Bhante Sujato.

    I love this Venerable Brahmali. Very, very beautiful and astute. You are so wonderful and you are reaching people in very profound ways that might surprise you. Sadhu sadhu sadhu, Venerable Sir. You are changing lives for the better. Beautiful to see this early, very wise talk of yours, juxtaposed with your current, wise, beautiful, kind talks of profound depth. This is not hyperbole; you have changed my life for the better Venerable Sir. With deep respect, there seems to be massive confusion in the world, and in the comments section here too. PLEASE continue to teach Bhante. You are so incredibly important, wise, and an excellent teacher of the Dhamma if I may be so bold to say so.

      This channel seems to be stealing content from BSWA and then monetizing it as well.

      Venerable Ajahn Brahmali is a very, very advanced practitioner of the BSWA. PLEASE be very mindful, I myself made the mistake of doubting this Venerable Monk and I regret it so much. He has become one of the only people whose word I trust on the entire PLANET. Please, you're missing out on so much goodness by doubting him, like I did. I'll never doubt him again. He is incredibly hard working, kind and wise, and a friend of the Buddha's with certainty.

    Buddha didn't believe in God. That's the main thing people need to understand about Buddha.
    Why do you add an "a" after each final word in a sentence? Is it a tick?

      What a sarcastic remark

    • @CT2507
      @CT2507 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jhhjyjkkkjgfjjk Well, you may think so. But in yoga it is well known that all ticks are demonically influenced. When ever there is something you don't have a control over, it means something else is controlling it.
      So I don't think its sarcasm to put the question.
      And Buddha didn't believe in God is just fact.

      @@jhhjyjkkkjgfjjk It may seem so to you, but what you don't know is that ticks are viewed as demonic interference in several spiritual systems. In yoga it is said that what ever you don't have control over in yourself, like involuntary movements, something else takes control over. They refer to parasitic entities like demons.
      Also, saying that Buddha didn't believe in God is just fact.
