Thanks! Yeah she seemed to enjoy it. We're actually going to try and go ice skating on Saturday haha! I have no idea what I'm doing. that seems too datey right, but I kind of want to try it. I've never been ice skating before and it would be super weird to go by myself. I only ever really put up a tree but I mean I never have any body over to my apartment anyway so it feels weird to just decorate for myself. Are you a big decorator?
Ride into your next date on a unicycle, with a one of those 1880’s top hats on. They’ll definitely leave the date remembering you. Wether good or bad, at least you’ll stick in their memory lmao. One of the downfalls of anxiety is holding yourself to extremely high standards. You said she was also introverted, so you have to remember, she’s probably sat at home thinking exactly what you are now; wondering if she impressed you, or stuck in your memory. And look, you made a whole video about her and the day. So maybes she did the same, but instead of a video, its just her inner dialogue. Try not to overthink it too much, and just enjoy getting to know people 😌
Yes thank you! Finally some good advice haha! Thanks that is kind of a nice thought, and I hadn't really thought about it like that. I do think there are a lot of bad things about anxiety like you mentioned, maybe more than there are good, but one good thing is it really does help with empathy. I sent her a text after we met to let her know I liked meeting her because I knew it would mean a lot for her to send something like that to me. If I didn't have any anxiety I think I definitely wouldn't have sent that. So hopefully that made her feel good about herself. Of course there's always the thought of "well maybe he's just being nice and doesn't really mean it" but at that point I think it's more on the other person to accept the compliment than for me to convince them. Sorry weird tangent. Your comment did make me feel nice so thanks!
I would say maybe try a gamers dating site. That way when you do meet with someone in person, you can have more things to talk about with them and more in common :3 And I'm doing a rebranding of my channel so I'll be doing the video around the time I'm done making changes!
