Hello! I am sorry to post this comment here but it’s your most recent video and I want the highest chance to get this question answered! I would really love to start streaming sometime later this year after I get everything to build my pc and set it up. But most likely I’ll only have one monitor unless I can get my laptop set up too. Though, my laptop will randomly crash so I don’t know how good of an idea that will be. In the instance that I do only have one monitor I was wondering how I can record my gameplay without having the overlay of chat and a smaller overlay of my gameplay/screen in the corner being recorded, the reason I want that is so I don’t have to open twitch on my laptop to make sure I’m on the right screen and to see what the viewers can see. From what I read the overlays won’t be visible to the people watching the streams but if I record the gameplay the overlays will be there.
There is way to record gameplay without the overlay. Unfortunately, I don't have this tutorial, but you can check out this great video from EposVox on the the subject: th-cam.com/video/TPCk6wgKtzI/w-d-xo.html
