Sometimes you have quests where you have to plunder to complete the quest.
In all my worlds I keep a hut next to my town hall, and plan to always do so. I don’t care if it gets plundered, and since it’s an every 5 minute production, it’s also served as a timer & reminder of how long I’ve been looking over this particular world.

Great point re: the quests! I forgot about those, I've also been in a pickle that required so many 'won battles without losing' and was unable to do it via GE or continent map, so I 'had' to attack/no loot some of the small neighbors.

Me too. I hate plundering. That's just not my style. So if I find something worthless (quests always), that's what I'll take

I like that your videos are concise - you say what needs saying and then stop! I swear I've seen videos 3 times longer that don't convey as much info

Being attacked does not hurt you in any way. Being plundered is very minor loss and not worth trying to protect against other than the most obvious things such as collecting on time.
