Dear Gitana, that was the first of 3 times on the show that he surprised the audience & the other competitors by playing one of the 7 instruments he can play. And remember he was competing with professional established acts and he was the youngest & the first foreigner to be invited to compete and he was unknown until he sang SOS on episode 1 of the show. In the end of 14 weekly episodes he came in second behind a Chinese beloved singer with a LOT of experience. named Sandy Lam.
Wow I find it hard to believe he would only be second. Thank you for this wonderful information.
And yet he was very humble about it. Since then hes gotten do much better at singing in other languages too and developed his lower range even more. Hes so complete as an artist. There are so many songs that no one else can replicate because theyre too hard to sing.
Even He is second, but I only follow him, so He is the really winner.

Во-многом согласна. Но, сори, если покажется цинизмом и прагматизмом. Сейчас многие рванули делать реакцию, чтобы повысит популярность канала. А дальше, чистая арифметика. Если количество лайков, менее 5 процентов от количества подписчиков... Может, хотя бы из уважения, или трезвого расчёта, стоило бы потратить время на свой собственный канал, и сделать тот же русский субтитр?
@@kat.sidr. я с вами согласна, я не обратила внимание на то что нет субтитров, но с другой стороны, я редко когда смотрю реакции последнее время, больше на канале Димаша слушаю его творчество. Всё таки наша поддержка и просмотры там важнее. И моё мнение (многие могут и не согласится 😉) реакции нужны для того чтобы с творчеством Димаша познакомилась люди которые ещё о нём не знают. Да, я давно являюсь поклонницей творчества Димаша.Но,к сожалению, творчество любого исполнителя, чисто физически, ограничено репертуаром. Как бы все мы не хотели слышать каждый день новый шедевр в исполнении кумира, увы, это не реально. Отсюда, вполне обоснованная тяга, смотреть реакции других, на понравившейся исполнение. Кто-то, ищет в этом скрытую возможность, на заднем плане, в 101-раз прослушать любимого певца. А кто-то, возможно, ищет в лицах, эмоциях, выражениях чувств тех кто снимает реакцию, отклик, отзвук, того чистого и светлого, что сама испытала. И, мне кажется, именно эта общность и чувство, объединяет всех нас, отсылает к самому доброму, чистому и сокровенному в наших душах. Феномен Димаш не только в его голосе, а ещё и в том, что его творчество заставляет сопереживая, вернуться к своим истокам, честным, благородным, в чем-то наивным своей искренностью, но... черт возьми, тем какими мы все, когда-то, хотели быть и следовать. Жизнь похоронила многое под налётом обыденного цинизма. А тут, бац, и вытащили тебя, то самое лучшее и светлое что было в твоей душе, наружу! И, только уже за это, стоит быть благодарной Димашу... Сумбурно, но вот как-то так.
Even though this competition is for established artists, Dimash was brought in as a dark horse. No one was expecting him :-). This performance solidified my love for Dimash and I had only heard 3 performances at that point. The power and emotion that was rolling off of him was overwhelming! He sings with his entire body! I also was crying at this performance. The competitor with the glasses, smiling, is Terry Lin. A Taiwanese singer. He and Dimash developed a strong bond during the show, almost like a surrogate father/son relationship. Dimash calls him Lin Papa. They've sung Unforgettable Day together several times.
To me it's not just that the competitors have given up, it's like they surrendered in admiration of the sheer talent and beauty they have the honor to be witnessing.

This show "The Singer" is not a new singer, the competition are all professional singers, the audience is the same throughout the entire show, 500 with musical backgrounds and they judge the show by points each week. Dimash won many of the weeks but he came in second place due to one week he had low points. If you are reacting to this show it is good to get the video from Gloria Wu's Channel, she has done something to the video to help against copyrights and has done backstories to "Daybreak" Autumn Strong". Or you can search for the backstory. You need it for those two songs.

Dimash will blow your heart in happiness
It's not just his range though, he has just sung the same melody line 3 times in three different ways. The first time through he sang the melody with a quiet, breathy head voice, or falsetto. Then he sang that same melody line with a 'normal' clearer, defined Tenor chest voice, and now at this melody line he attacked with a full volume belt chest voice. Go back and listen to that first passage and see if you can pick out what I mean. Same melody line three times, three different vocalizations, from three different points in his vocal instrument. I am not a musical,.....anything. I just noticed what I think I noticed. There is a 70-30% chance I am wrong but if I'm not that's pretty cool right?
I hate to tell you, Dimash finished 2nd, to a Chinese performer. They make the same mistake next year for the opposite reasons. I thought KZ should have won, not that I begrudge Jessie J the win, but I thought KZ did a much better job overall.
Dimash finishing 2nd is just robbery. I think they were overwhelmed. He can finish off a song that's for sure. You have to listen to the song about the parents saving the life of their son just before the cable car they were in gave way and everybody on it perished. Then a lady wrote the song and sang it. When she heard about the accident. Then she adopted the boy. It is all a true story. The song called, 'Daybreak', very emotional. Until the next time.
Dimash pronounced Adagio properly. Most Anglos don't. Great reaction to this, his sixth performance on this competition.

This competition was in 2017 but did not win the award and that was unfair,he was the second ,if you watched all the competition,you will judge for Dimash as a winner,but he is still number one and he is the artist of the 21century without exaggeration.
