    Did you have issues with your drop away I’m getting a low tear that I am not able to get out I feel like it’s causing cam timing issues cause I’ve adjusted the rest and didn’t get rid of the tear left right perfect I kind of said the hell with it cause everything I’ve shot has completely passed through I’ve shot a 250 pound hog passed through like he wasn’t there I am shooting 700 grain arrows with single bevels it’s set at 88.9 pounds it came in at 92.9 lbs and after the strings settled and tuned it it stayed at 88.9 it’s a sweet bow

      Sounds like a beast of a bow. It may be a timing issue, but if your putting arrows where you need to and have tight groups that should be good enough

    How big of a difference are these bow to a Matthews z7? Is it night an day difference?

    Did you eat giraffe?

      Yes, and everything is eaten even the inerds one of the videos is on Paul Korn Bow Hunting Channel. In South Africa this makes the Animals valuable and so they ensure that wildlife are raised and not just cattle instead.

    I also shoot the Mathews Monster Safari and I love it! It is just a great bow!

    If it’s one bow I would love to own….it’s the Monster Safari! Still the coolest looking bow on the planet. Why Mathews doesn’t do this to their grips on all their bows blows my mind.

    I like the safari better and it's better at transferring energy to the arrow.. Nice test Mauser thanks

    Matthews Safari >85lbs ?

  • @shawnhohneke1826
    @shawnhohneke1826 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Appears to me draw length isn't exactly? Can see field tip beyond front of bow VS disappears on behind riser on Safari. Surely not a huge difference but noticeable

    • @mussersbowsboatsandscience6610
      @mussersbowsboatsandscience6610  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      that is a good catch, also seems with a soft back wall you pull further back too

    • @longdrawarcher4857
      @longdrawarcher4857 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      backing the safari off in poundage could have added a little draw length, due to it changing the brace height. I don’t know for sure, but it’s a theory anyhow.

      I'm supposedly a 29.5 and I hate it...it's unusable...I literally need my shoulder blades to almost touch, and use the smallest release possible, it's still back to behind my ear almost. Most likely set up wrong. Never used it, welcome to come try it. I gave up on it two years ago, it's hanging on the wall.

    • @mussersbowsboatsandscience6610
      @mussersbowsboatsandscience6610  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Still deciding on the APA, I would live 100lb bow that shot like the Safari! The APA is less fun to shoot with the short valley and brace height

    Safari is NOT the fastest Nor the most powerful Mathews Bow...that title goes to the Monster XLR8 w/ 80lb limbs and a 5 inch BH @ 360 fps
